22 hundreths of a second not bad considering it is 40% bigger cc wise and is a 6 cyl verses a 4 cyl

actually you can break them from under uses. IF YOU LET THE BARREL FREZE WITHOUT THE BLADES MOVING REGULARLY IT CAN BREAK THE BARRELL MUXER AND OR BURN OUT THE MOTOR. ITS A BALANCING ACT BETWEEN BEING COLD ENOUGH AND WHIPPED ENOUG WITHOUT FREEZING TOO HARD. I USDED TO WORK IN MY DADS CARVEL STORE WHEN I WAS A KID.

My wife and I have one week to go till we hopefully buy are first Yamaha Royal Star Venture. This site has been wonderful and very informative and I would like to thank everyone on here that has helped us with information and advice. Special Thanks to Mike for agreeing to sell us his 2000 Venture. We have made plans to ride down to Galena for the International Rally in July to meet our new family.

My wife and I are starting to plan our summer vacation. We are going to go to Key West in mid June. Question.....has anyone here been there? Where did you stay, likes, dislikes, places to go and see, places to avoid. We are only going to spend two nights. I figure it will take us about 2 1/2 days to get there from Michigan.Leave on Saturday morning and arrive mid day Teusday, leave Thursday morning and head home going up the east coast then cut across around Virginia and be back home Sunday. It's 1550 miles from our house to downtown Key West. I figure between 4500-5000 miles round trip. Suggestions?
Was just there in January, There is so much to do. We stayed in marathon at Seista Keys Motel Very nice place with kitchen and screened in porch. Some nice places in marathon to eat also. The only problem with staying in marathin was I couldn't drink in Key West due to riding back. Also be very careful where you park if there is no meter you must walk up to corner and pay in a machine then put tag on bike/car. Also stop at information booth and they will tell you where ther is free motorcycle parking. Plenty across street from hard Rock Cafe

With the people who have rsvp'd on the calender and others that I know are coming that haven't yet we are very close to 100 people so far with 5 months left to talk up more people to into coming. Let's keep it going.

Last time I checked them, they didn't insure in Michigan. I'll check again.
Well, I checked them, they do write in Mi. Their online quote on the '08 RSV Hannigan was over $900 ! I don't pay that for both bikes right now.

I showed that to my wife last night. She was sitting with her laptop and two cats on her lap and handed her mine to watch it. When I saw how she was holding my laptop I stood up and got closer. When the snake struck I caught my computer and both cats went flying she jumped show bad. Pretended like she was mad for a while.
I would have loved to seen that one.

Wanted to Let you know that the 2013 Venturerider.org Rally Committee will be meeting on 2/23/2013 and 2/24/2013 to finalize the agenda for the Rally this summer. You will see the itinerary Posted shortly after that weekend.
Also would like to request that everyone who plans on attending the rally in Galena to please rsvp on the calender so we can keep an acurate count for planning purposes.
