  1. Im not talking about any regular cheap crap leather suit...... i have a $2000 Dainese Racing leather suit..:fiddle:
  2. i have a 98 RS that i have turned into a single seat with no saddle bags to make it look more smooth..... i still have my leather suit from when i used to race on my sport... anyone ever worn a full leather suit on a cruiser before??lol... just curious
  3. so after much analyzing , ive come to the conclusion that my the carbs on my 98 need to be synchronized...is it a hard task?? or am I better off taking it to a shop ?? how much would a shop charge for that?? thanks
  4. the backfires are out the exhaust during decelleration.... it like a POP POP POP POP, simultanious pop all the way thru decel... the mufflers arent stock, i bought the bike from a guy who bought it from a dealer, the bike came with aftermarket pipes.... im not sure if they ever syncd the carbs
  5. how do I post pictures??..... it has 16500 miles on it
  6. Im not sure of what the dark side is..LOL... but I used to be a Sport Bike rider, (canyons and track), until i got tired of the riding position of sport bikes and decided to switch to cruisers..lol....i still enjoy the thrill of canyon twisties and mountain riding, but i want to hear some experiences with people riding corners at certain speeds.... just about how much can a Royal Star handle on the twisties??.. i know its a heavy beast , but how does it handle??... what are some good tires for canyon riding on these babies?? thanks:pushups::pushups:
  7. ok so ive been hearing a lot about SEA FOAM and its miracle work.... my 98 royal star that i recently bought with around 16300 miles on it....seems to backfire more than usual.... the last owner said it sat around for about a week or so, but i dont really trust him... i think the bike sat for longer than that... will the SEA FOAM better the backfiring problem??.... How should I use the SEA FOAM??... i know the bottle has directions but i wanna hear some of your techniques!! thanks!:bowdown:
  8. ok so i barely bought my 98 royal star from a guy who's the first owner, he said he bought it from the dealer with aftermarket pipes on it.... the problem is that the bike doesnt seem to have been re-jetted since it seems to be running a little lean.. it takes a while to warm up and if i try riding it when it barely starts, it kinda hesitates to run....how do I know what kind of exhaust it is?? what could be the problem??
