1. Thanks, clicking Next, Next, etc. is working for me too. It's strange but at least there's a work around.
2. I'm having an issue with the pop-up window with thumbnail images attached to posts. The pop-up is the one with the Last / Next buttons at the bottom. When the thumbnail image is clicked the window pops up but the image never loads. The pop-up blocker is turned Off. This is Internet Explorer on Windows 8.1. Has anyone else had this issue? Found a solution? Thanks
3. I also got the carb and twinkie covers from slowrollvw and had the same issue with the choke side carb cover. I put a plastic washer like those used with hockey helmet mask in behind the carb cover and it's just thick enough for the screw to tighten up fully. They definitely are well made and add to the look.
4. That's too bad. Hopefully it gets repaired ASAP. In late May last year we rode the BRP from Linville, NC north to Roanoke, VA and the road was in great condition. Some bridge joints were a little rough but nothing memorable. Maybe I'm just too used to Canadian potholes. Weather was fantastic but we were too early for the rhodadendrans (sp?) on Roan Mtn.
5. The clutch upgrade kit from skydoc_17 fixed the slippage on my RSV.

9. I'm very happy with my Skydoc clutch upgrade kit.
10. Well clutch upgrade has been completed. This task is easy to do with a great tutor and the right tools. Thanks to Wizard765 for the great tutoring and tools. Thanks to skydoc_17 for the upgrade kit.
11. Thanks for the responses everyone. I'll get the kit ordered and PM those who offered help.
12. I'm experiencing clutch slippage when getting hard on the throttle in 4th gear on my '07 RSV. Have about 63,000 kms on it which appears typical based on the posts here. Based on the various posts the Clutch Upgrade Kit from skydoc_17 is the proven solution but my mechanical abilities are limited to oil changes. Is there anyone in southern Ontario that has done the upgrade successfully and would be willing to help with this procedure? Thanks
13. In my opinion it will eventually be legalized but the 'benefits' are dubious. Governments will have to enact regulations for the growth, production, distribution, sale and taxation. Laws to punish violators will also be needed. Governments will have to fund studies to determine levels of intoxication which impair someone ability to operate a motor vehicle and the like. Studies would be done to determine damage done to the body based on level of usage. Governments will have to fund methods of detecting levels of intoxication such as breathalyzer and then train police forces on the use of these methods. Governments will develop laws concerning the smoking of marijuana likely similar to those for tobacco. Some jurisdictions here in Canada have made tobacco smoking very prohibitive. Government taxation of any commodity leads to higher prices so criminal organizations would not leave because there's just too much money to be made outside the government system. In the end the taxpayers will foot the bill just as we are now and always do.
14. I've had the BaggerShield installed for about a year now and had no problems with installation at all. Is the chrome trim sitting flush like it did before?
15. This has happened to me as well twice in the last two weeks. First time we'd been out close to 1 hour when it started sputtering then just quit. We were almost home. Would turn over fine but wouldn't fire. Waited maybe 15 minutes and tried it again and it stayed running so rode home. Rode it about 20 minutes over to a recommended Yamaha dealer a few days later. Dealer changed the regulator rectifier which he said was overcharging. The second time was today. Had been out for about 40 minutes and it started sputtering then just quit. This time though we were much further from home. Let it sit for a few minutes and tried it again. It would run for a 10 seconds then die or if I gave it any throttle it would die right away. Called for a tow truck. After waiting about 45 minutes I tried the bike again and this time it stayed running. Tow arrived shortly after so we trailered it back home. Unloaded it, started it and rode it into my garage. Does this sound like the fuel pump could be the cause? Can the fuel pump be easily bypassed as a road side fix? What's the level of difficulty in changing the fuel pump with little mechanical know how? Any other possibilities? We're supposed to be heading out for 10 days on the bike this coming Saturday but have zero confidence in the bike at this point. Thanks
16. I installed the Baggershield in mid July with the low profile connectors. Went on a 15 day trip and the shield worked well. I didn't like looking thru the RSV shield when it was raining so being able to remove the top was great if the weather looked like rain was possible. However, I did notice 1 of the connectors was showing some surface rust on the backside where the nut is after it being out in the weather for several days. Odd thing is the other 2 connectors are fine.
17. The Hwy 6 construction south of Jarvis that Darthandy is referring to was about 4kms of potholed gravel when I drove it (in a pickup truck) on the Canada Day weekend.
18. Changing the final drive oil is done and it was as easy as everyone said. Thanks for the assistance. Mover
19. Thanks. What Freebird said is the same as a friend told me he does for his GoldWing. Any idea on torque for the drain and fill plugs?
20. My owner's manual says take to dealer to change final drive oil. Is the process more complex than changing engine oil? What is the process for changing final drive oil. Thanks Mover
21. We took a fall colour ride through Ontario's Algonquin Park on Saturday. The colours are almost at their peaks.
