I am treading lightly. Got to look "Silver" over a little more. Made sure I didn't touch tools... She was watching closely. I destroyed one of the Passing Lamps and a Rear antenna. The rest I don't see anything that can't be repaired. May have to paint upper fairing and radiator cover. Thing took a pretty hard lick and came up ticking. I can't find just one of the passing lights anywhere, the antenna shouldn't be hard if I could remember the name of it!!

Even with the Dry Heat that is HOT!!!! Another reason not to pull a trailer. I have been considering one of the "cargo racks "?? that would mount on the rear hitch to pack the lighter bulky stuff on that would be easy to drop off when at a campground or behind a barn somwhere!! Just wondering about handling differences with something hanging back there?? Put some "Wheelie bars" on it?? Or I could sell bike and buy camper for the Ranger......:Avatars_Gee_George:

My puter was acting up yesterday and couldn't post to this and wasn'up to picking it up and "body slamming" the thing!!! I'm thinking it is something in the brakes also or hoping it is because that would be the simple fix. I'm thinking one of those keepers is out of wack some way. I was sitting on bike with it running when she got there. I guess she never thought about how it got up off the sidestand. Which was not fun!!! I don't think I'll tell her that one......

1985 The Air system will only work when switch is in Acc position. Don't overair the Front!! Can get costly. Start with about 7 lbs in it. Don't overair it!!!! Around 35 in the rear. Spend the 12 bucks on this site and wonder how you ever got along without it!! Looks like you may have stolen a great bike.

Kind of wish he had gone after truck but can understand that. Not saying 1st Gen is better bike in this case but more experience on 2nd Gen could have helped?? Insurance not wanting to discuss things but truck was main cause? Uninsured or underinsured maybe should be footing the bill??

I PICKED IT UP TODAY!!!!:banana::banana: Front pegs and bars are bent in enough to push floorboard up and jam shifter. So it is jammed in gear. I got it up off kickstand, pulled in clutch and it fired right up. Ran it until it got warm. Bubs sound pretty. Sorry you didn't get to hear them Boss.
