There is nothing new about the user tagging, quote notifications, etc. Those have always been user selectable. Maybe you accidentally changed a setting? I don't now. I just checked mine and nothing was changed. You can elect to get those quote notifications and other things but going to your profile. Scroll down to the bottom in the left menu. Under User Tagging click on "settings". There you can select which and what type of notifications you wish to see or receive my email.

I'm going to try and keep this short and hopefully not ruffle too many feathers. A mistake was made. I can assure you that nobody here feels worse about it than Chuck does. He apologized and that is all that he can do. I accept that apology and will not ask any more from him. I see no reason to continue berating him over it. Yes, it was a fair sized mistake. I can tell you for absolute certain though that I have made bigger mistakes. I'm willing to bet that almost everybody here has also at one time or another. It's not the end of the world. Yes, I feel bad for anybody that had already scheduled their vacation and may not be able to change it. That is a terrible outcome. I also know though of at least two people who can now come that weren't going to be able to before. How will it balance out? I don't know and it doesn't make me feel any less bad for anybody who not can't make it but what is done is done. It is January 6th folks. The rally is more than 10 months out. That's a long time. I wish that this hadn't happened but I'm glad that we found out now instead of later. I hope people can just get over it and we can all have a good time.

I'm presently updating the forum software. No major changes, just bug fixes and etc. I don't expect any issues but if you see something a little more flaky than usual, see or smell smoke, etc. That's probably why.

That is closer than I would like them to be but is the best we could do. They are booked the weeks before our original date. Anything later would put us into October and possible weather issues for our norther members.

Have no idea on the Victory. I can say for sure that I synched them on a BMW at a Tail of the Dragon rally one year.

There is a major problem with the rally dates as brought to light by @Barrycuda. We can blame the resort, we can blame Chuck or we can blame me. Regardless, the dates were not blocked for us by the resort and we have no choice except to change the dates of the rally. I am fully aware of the fact that this could cause issues for some who may have a hard time with vacation scheduling and etc. but the fact is, there is nothing else that we can do. So the date for the International Rally has been officially changed to September 12 - 15th. The week previous to our original date is not available either. If you have previously signed RSVP on the VentureRider Calendar, please do so again as it had to be reset to zero because of he changed date. Oberlin Inn is still under construction. Not sure when it's supposed to be finished. Will post list of other hotels over the next few days. In fact, now that the date is set, I'll start a thread under the Regional Rallies forum. That is where it belongs.

The weekend of Memorial Day conflicts with MarCarls annual gathering. The weekend before that is too soon for various reasons. I think the 11th is the best choice.

It's a little later than usual but I'm thinking June 11th this year.

Sorry, it won't be June 4th as I have a trade show in Indianapolis that weekend. I'll try to set the date tonight.

I see "User Gallery" right under your name in your post above. When I click on it, I get taken right to your "tools" album.

It's very simple to find your old photo gallery. Just click on "Profile" in the upper right of the page and then scroll down until you see "Albums" in the left menu. An even easier way is to simply click on "User Gallery" under your Username from any post you have made. That being said, I just checked yours HdHtr and it shows that you have none uploaded. That means your old ones were apparently in the old system that didn't get imported. Sorry about that. I did the best I could with it.

When you add a picture to a thread, it does not get added to any photo gallery. Never was. With this version of the site or the old one. You have to add them to your photo gallery if that is where you want them. As for the old photo gallery getting migrated, some did and some didn't. There were two different photo galleries before. it was confusing. One of them was imported into the new one and the other couldn't be. It just depends upon which one you were using.

I agree...I hope it doesn't follow me home. We are headed back toward home tomorrow. We drove straight through to get here but it's a good 12 hour drive and that was a lot for the grandkids so we'll leave tomorrow, drive about half way and then get home Saturday. The older granddaughter is no problem at all but the 3 year old? Halle? HURRICANE HALLE!!!! I'm ready to go back to work.
