  1. No, it is not normal and indicates a weak clutch spring.
  2. Something is not right on your RSV. No way should a stock RSTC be faster. You need to be figuring out what is wrong with it and not why the RSTC is fast. I would suspect that you are running on three cylinders or something.
  3. Not sure about that but Barnett does make the coil type for the RSV.
  4. I would be looking for an air leak at a fitting or something. That is not how they usually fail. It is usually the oil that starts leaking and even then they do not lose air. What you are describing is very unusual and if fact, I've personally never heard of it happening.
  5. This actually sounds really promising. Will be interesting to see what comes of it. http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2016/06/15/man-builds-100mpg-engine-using-200-year-old-technology/?intcmp=hpff
  6. Well.... you DO talk a lot.

    Love that picture.
  8. Everybody's is probably a bit higher than is now shown. When you reset it all, it pulls the new counts from the current database. Any threads that are pruned are lost in the current count. So posts in areas that get pruned from time to time are not included in the count if it is reset. This may be the first time I've ever reset the count because I Really just don't pay any attention to it.
  9. OK...I've reset all the post counts. Will still probably hide them completely later.
  10. Post counts have gotten screwed up somehow. I used to have them hidden and will probably do so again. Just hadn't thought about it.
  11. OK folks. The site has been moved to a new server. Hopefully there will be no issues.
  12. Just a quick heads up. The site will be going down for a little while sometime today. I am estimating 30 minutes to an hour. Due to new security requirements and etc., I have learned that the server software has to be upgraded. The site is being migrated to a new server with a newer version of CPanel and some other changes. Hopefully it will be a seamless transition but there will be a bit of downtime.
  13. Wish you could find it around here. There is a website that shows where you can get ethanol free gas in most areas. All of the listed ones here were marinas and the only way to get it would be to tote cans a pretty good distance to the boat docks.
  14. Haven't heard from you in a while. Hope you are doing well.
  15. By the way, just for the record, I agree 100% with that report. I NEVER buy premium fuel for any of my cars or the bike. I do believe it is a complete waste of money.
  16. 10spd is correct. You get ethanol here regardless of the grade. The only way to avoid it is to go to a marina or someplace else that had non-ethanol gas and most of those don't have pumps that you can access unless you are in a boat.
  17. Just wanted to extend the heartfelt gratitude that Eileen and I have for each and every one of you. You all go out of your way to thank us for putting on Maintenance Day but I can promise you that we get at least as much out of it as all of you do. We love doing this and really look forward to it each year. You have all become our second family...almost our first family maybe...and it means more than any of you can understand that you take the time off and make the trip to Oberlin, OH to celebrate this with us. We used to be a bit surprised and amazed at how neat and clean you leave our place but now we just know it will be great and our amazement has pretty much just turned into sincere appreciation. Thank you so much for coming and we are already looking forward to next year. We hope to see you all again and also many new faces that we have yet to meet. Sincerely, Don and Eileen
  18. Sounds exciting. I will want to see pictures when you get it of course. WOW...AUGUST...I hope that you are more patient than I am.
  19. Very nice. You should be so proud. It's a dreadful disease.
  20. OK...I'll pass because I need it all. Thanks.
  21. Look good. Are they easily adjustable, I mean no tools?
  22. I hooked it into the power that powers the receptacle in the fairing. It is only on when the key is on.
  23. Got this done today. It was supposed to come on Friday but showed up today. Was waiting for it before I split the fairing to hook up the GPS so once I got here, I go it all done. Works very well. Great product. The only problem is that the allen head bolt for the light bar stripped before it got tight and I spent about an hour getting it out to install new bolts. No more allen head bolts for the light bar. I had the same problem on the '99 and thought about it before putting it back on but decided it would be OK. Huge mistake. But....it's all done now and I'm very happy with the results.
  24. Well yea....but it's all natural.
