  1. Great to see you here again. We have missed you.
  2. I have one. I don't want to sell it but would be willing to send it to your for your testing. I really doubt that yours is bad but it is always a possibility. I'm out of town right now but if you want to try it, I could put it in the mail on Monday. Just send me a PM with your address if you want to try it.
  3. I think the pictures look great and it looks like a lot of fun.
  4. I have really lost touch with the audio industry. For music, I primarily use Pandora or Iheart connected via Bluetooth to a Bose Soundlink Mini. Last time I bought stereo equipment I was looking at Pioneer, Sansui, Marantz, Fisher, etc. I guess I'm officially over the hill.
  5. That's actually pretty cool. You are right though, I KNOW that Yammer can relate.
  6. Thank you for doing this my friend. I'm sure he will get a lot of joy from it.
  7. LOL....that is great. Gotta love technology.
  8. So sorry to hear this Dan. You've had way too much of such things over the last few years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
  9. Brenda, I honestly suspect that it's the battery. That is the very first thing I would check. Like Bob, I have serious doubts that your starter or starter solenoid are bad.
  10. Please keep our friend Rick Butler in your prayers. I am sad to report that his wife Linda passed away around 10:00 pm last night. Rick and Linda have been personal friends since long before I started VentureRider.org and Eileen and I have been on some amazing bike trips with him and Linda. Linda was only 64 years old and they had been married for 44 years. I can't even pretend to know what he is going through at this time. They were pretty much joined at the hip. I guess it was relatively sudden. From what I understand, she suffered a heart attack a few days ago.
  11. Well, we all know that the Rum won't help solve the problems but sometimes I guess we just need to relax and try to forget about them for a little while. I sure hope things get better for you. That's a lot to take all at once. There are words that go something like "the Lord will never give us more than we can handle". I tell you, though, sometimes I wish he didn't have so much faith in me. Prayers with you, my friend.
  12. No problem and changing it is certainly not a requirement, just makes it easier to know what you are asking. Glad you have joined us. HEY....good job. I see that you got it changed even before I finished typing my reply. You are more computer literate than you though.
  13. Russell, you old hoot owl, make no mistake about it. You are missed my friend. Your profile says that you are member number 48 but we know that after the famous crash a few years ago and everybody had to re-register, you lost ground. I think that you were originally member number 3 or something like that. Bottom line, you have been here from the very beginning and I think that you know how much your support meant to me back then and still today. You are the perfect representation of what VentureRiders is all about. Now you take care of yourself and get back here. We truly do miss you.
  14. I straightened the picture for you but I have another question. You stated that it is an '83 Venture? The color would actually indicate that it's an '84. Does the title show it as an '83? It is possible that the plastic has been changed but I doubt it. One more thing that will be helpful when you ask questions. You can add the year, model and etc. to your posts. Where your's says "supporting member" twice under your username, you can replace one of those with the bike's year and model. Then when you post a question or comment, other members will know what bike you are talking about. Here is how to do it. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?90684-Help-us-to-Help-you-with-your-bike-info-in-your-header-updated-to-new-forum
  15. Folks, there is always camping here at the Nelson Campground.
  16. Well, maybe if some of you want to go, we can get together here and go together. Might be a fun day. Will have to see how my schedule looks when it gets a bit closer though. I am slammed right now.
  17. Looks like on July 15th they will be auctioning off over 700 cars and other vehicles from a private collection. Auction is in Norwalk, OH which is only about 30 minutes down the road. I may go if I am able to. Wish I had LOTS of money though. http://www.foxnews.com/auto/2017/01/31/collectors-700-car-stash-heading-to-auction.html some pretty good pictures here: http://www.vanderbrinkauctions.com/auctions_pictures.php?page=1&detail=205
  18. For future reference, I have also copied this to the General Tech Library and stuck it at the top.

  21. I think that I got all those pictures restored.
  22. Of course you can use it. Heck that there's official...I say OFFICIAL club business.
  23. Freebird

    FYI

Could be a hoax. Are they asking you to click on a link to verify anything at all? PayPal will NOT send you an email asking you to click on a link to verify your information. They will tell you to go to PayPal and login as you normally would.
  24. I don't know how far I would go. My general rule of thumb is about a 100 mile radius. To be honest though, I travel so much that I could probably work them in further in some cases if the customer would be OK with me installing in the evening. As for Eileen, she would sure like to help but there just isn't much that she could do. Besides, she pretty much has her plate full taking care of doctors appointments and other stuff.
  25. By the way, if anybody knows of someone in the Ohio area that needs a stairlift, I have also redone and taken over the website. They can contact me there. http://www.northcoastmobility.com
