  1. Way back in my Real Estate days there was an account who's address was 666 Dead Cat Alley. Creepy.... But real popular around Halloween....
  2. Years ago I had a Gun Shop account and they had a Bobcat for a pet in the store. They named it 'Robert'...for short.
  3. Just checked her out, and she's really good, but I didn't fall in love with her... Did I ever mention I'm a sucker for red heads.... Her albums would make for some great riding sounds....
  4. When dropping a bike at 0 mph, you don't want to just let it go unless you want to end up replacing plastic. You don't want to fight it either, you're never going to stop it. It's more like guiding it down to rest, and really doesn't put a whole lot of pressure on the left leg or the knee. Don't ask me how I know that....
  5. Glad to see you wrestled that critter into submission George....
  6. It's been out for a while now, and I've already seen it... in the movie 'Tron'.... Here's something that always bothered me about trikes that lean. Why have a trike?? 2 wheels would be a better performer if you have to lean to keep it upright. "Hey Joe!! Came to a stop and my trike fell over." PS: I hope Y would stop wasting their time and develop something more along traditional lines... Like...Ahem!... the Venture...
  7. About '06 I bought an '83 that had been sitting outside in the weather for 3 years. No clutch, no brakes, and the battery was deader than a doornail. Wasn't sure if it was going to be parted out, or put back on the street. Running was the main factor. Put a fresh battery in her, sprayed carb cleaner down the venturies, turned the key and it coughed and ran for about 3 seconds before turning her off. Cool!! Poured fresh gas into the tank and a full can of Sea Foam. Started it again with the carb cleaner, and eventually she started to run on her own.... But like crap... Let it idle and the longer it ran the better it ran. Cleaned it up, bled the clutch and brakes, and took it on a 100 mile ride. I felt she even ran stronger than my first '83. Sold it a couple of months later. MOF I think I have a pic of both of them in my gallery... 'Double Trouble'.... BTW I never did flush out the tank...
  8. Well I just blew 20 mins before I realized what was happening. Addictive ain't it....
  9. The price has risen a bit, but the shipping is still free. http://www.bohannonbattery.com/html/deka/etx20l.html
  10. All of the above are great suggestions on what to look for, but you mentioned that you haven't addressed the fork pressures yet, and that's what you should have done first thing. Uneven fork pressures with cause a variance in how the forks will react under compression in cornering....
  11. Back before I bought my first RSV the local Honda Dealer had a 2006 Strat on eBay with an opening bid of $7100. It had a bunch of Corbin add ons, and was immaculate. The starting bid is what it went for, and I was that close to pulling the trigger and tossing a bid at it, but chickened out at the last minute due to a lite wallet. Later I wished that I had. I really liked that bike... Who knows it might have been a life changing experience.
  12. After wiring the ISO into my '99 it fit down along side the battery box. You might want to pick up one of M61A1MECH's wiring adapters rather than splicing into the existing wires...
  13. Yep, we seem to have some of the same tastes. Always been a Joplin Fan since way back when. Etheridge 'The One', Pink 'There's a Party Going On', Joss Stone. And now Tedeschi with 'Anyday'.. I bounce all over the place in what I like to listen too. Also Like Dion, Groben, Broadway, Spirit in the Sky, Old Time R&R'... etc. I also have an old CD of 'Starbucks on the Delta' with some of the old time delta blues artists... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ef-f-l2Pbn8
  14. I guess I'm a Johnny come lately, and missed a lot according to YouTube. In the process of catching up.... There's also a cut of the entire set with Little by Little, and Day by Day. LBL was pretty good,, and Susan can pick a pretty mean guitar, but DBD knocked it outta the park.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUOhnHggl6E
  15. Watch out for those little grass skirts Bob. Happy Anniversary!!.... My wife and I went to Puerto Vallarta for our 25th....
  16. While catching a rerun of the 2007 Eric Clapton CrossRoads Concert I ran into a set that really grabbed me. The Group was the Tedeschi Truck Band, and their lead singer is Susan Tedeschi. I'd never heard of them before, but I'm a fan now... I love a soulful singer and great guitar. This set had it all. Found a cut on YouTube. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
  17. Thanks Dion. That's what happens with TMI. My brain starts to reject..... I also don't like to read things twice... I'm surprised George is having so much trouble locating the problem. He's a pretty savey guy....
  18. I scanned through your story, and might have missed it George, but did you replace the Mass Flow Sensor. They're very touchy, and can be damaged very easily. 1998 Suburban w/Vortec V8. 200,000 miles.
  19. Just remembered... Back in ancient times I had a switch installed in the ignition wiring between the seat and the tank of my Ariel Square Four. No one knew it was there. That was back in the days when a screw driver could substitute for an ignition key on most UK bikes. Plus you could always chain the bike to a carport post on the new house....?? Or build a garage....
  20. Definitely not an ATGATT kinda guy... More like an organ donor..... Cool econo-rail tho... Wonder if that was a fuely class??
  21. The way I look at it is, if you can't buy it for cash you can't afford it.... I paid less for my house...
  22. Yes it will. I did use it when installing a Voyager trike kit free standing, but when I tried to take the bike off, it slid along with the scoot. So I'd suggest mounting it to half a sheet of plywood. That way you can plant your feet and pull, and the chock will stay put... The RSV front tire doesn't sit all the way down into the 'valley', but it is solid. Actually it pro'bly would be harder to back off if it was lower...??
  23. I don't know what the Victory's have, but the RSV's have a double lock. One on the ignition, and the other on the side of the tree where you can put a pad lock. At 900lbs it'd be kinda difficult to move it with out some sort of crane.... That said, ever since they stole my tow behind I've been looking at tracking devices. Something that can be tracked on the net or smart phone. Haven't found anything that I can afford yet, but one of these days??
