  1. Thanks Puc for all the info buddy. I am still looking. Hope you are doing well and enjoying that new grandbaby.
  2. It has been a very mild winter so far in Michigan. At least here in O'l Lake Orion. But, it ain't over till it's over.

  4. FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER Welcome 2017! The big news last month was that Polaris announced that it will be winding down the Victory brand over the next 18 months. So, what does this mean? Well, for our Victory owners, we will continue to support the brand as we have in the past. Parts and warranty will be supported for the next 10 years. All of our in stock apparel and accessories are available at cost. All of our in stock motorcycles are availalbe at cost while they last. Februrary also brings us some good programs on the Indian side on remaining 2016 models. For all 111ci models, there is a $1500 trade in allowance (not to be combined with Honoring Heros rebate) and on Scouts, there is 1.99% financing & a $500 parts, accessories, and apparel credit which can be combined with Honoring Heros. It is a great time to purchase your new bike before the season hits. Think Spring! Just thought I would share what I received today from our local dealer. It might help someone get a good deal.
  5. Here is hoping that you are feeling better by the time you receive this. Take care and get well soon.
  6. As I was reading I was praying for all of you.
  7. I had Rick do my Honda St 1300 last winter. Late this past fall I was in the seat for 750 miles in one day. I never would have been able to do that without Rick doing my seat. Can't wait to do it again.
  8. Check this place out. Might find the help you need.http://forums.iboats.com/Chrysler-Outboards/10-HP
  9. Trader, Look at the fuel filter. If it is black chances are you have gas lines and the filter plugged with the rubber from the bulb. Been there done that before. Just look at the filter. It will tell the story. If it is clear then it is probably the carb. PUT SEAFOAM IN IT if the filter is clear.
  10. I do not have a Chrysler 10 H.P outboard but I have had a few old motors in my time. This is what I would do and have done many times with older engines. It looks as though it has the original plugs in it. Change them. If the fuel line and bulb is old. Change them. They gum up and wear out. If the bulb is old cut it in half and look at all the rubber that has decayed inside. All that goop will be inside your fuel line and also the filter. The filter should be right where your gas line hooks up to the motor. Clean it out or replace it. After those changes. Start with fresh gas and it should be Premium. Put an over dose of SeaFoam in the gas. If you have been running regular in it. It has probably destroyed the carb. You will have to rebuild it. The kit will come with stuff you don't need but use it anyway. I use to buy old motors at garage sales. Usually 5 H.P. I would get them running and put them on my 12ft alum. boat with another engine that I did not want to sell. I would put a "For Sale" sign on the one and use it to go around the lake looking for a boat without a motor. I have sold them right on the lake before to someone that needed a motor. I had a lot of fun doing that for a few years. Good luck and hope you can find parts.
  11. And I can't believe you didn't take any "Selfies" with all that time that passed by. I am as sure as can be if you would have just told him to be still for a moment so you could take one. He would have complied.
  12. Me neither. I just knew it ahead of time.
  13. I had driven by that bike for probably two weeks but was in my truck. Yesterday I was on the ST1300 and pulled right up by it. You can see my reflection in the chrome setting on my bike. Just couldn't figure out what kind it was till I stopped. Glad I took the time. Talked with a guy today from India and he new it right off. Said they were very popular in East Asia.
  14. If you lose your text after awhile. It will be saved automatically. Try it. Type TEST leave and look at something else and when you come back to the reply box. You will see in the gray area "Restore Auto-Saved Content" Try it you might like it.
  15. Ha ha, Now there are two of us that are confused. Never talked about no Harley in my posts:confused24: I was only verifying what Don suspected I was doing in his very first post on this subject.
  16. It sure looks "BIGGER" than a 250cc She told me she rode it in the mountains and had no problems with it. Must have been down hill all the way.
  17. You are correct Don. Just sharing what I found on the side of the road.
  18. 2004 Hyosung Alpha Twin for sale. 6000 miles $1700.00 I have never heard of one let alone take a picture with my phone before. A lady came out and told me all about it. It was her bike and she bought it brand new. 250cc weighs 300 lbs. and a Suzuki engine. She had foot surgery and does not want to ride any more. Not a bad looking bike. She has the soft saddle bags for it also.
  19. I had been having backfires going on for about two years. Had Don sync the carbs at M-Day this year like never before. He did a fine job for sure. Puk had mentioned before M-Day that maybe Gaskets were leaking. I tightened everything before M-Day but still backfired on the way down and still got it on the way back home after M-Day. Anyway I changed out six of the Gaskets. Three on each side and now I am Backfire Free.:happy65:Here are a few pics. I really had to clean out the old gaskets before replacing with new. I used a drum sander to do it. The backfire was really annoying after awhile. I am very happy with the outcome.
  20. That is very nice looking. Enjoy the days with it.
  21. I thinks maybe you are trying to pull "WOOL" over mine eye's.
  22. I am going to count to 100. 1001,1002,1003 maybe by 2's instead. 2, 4, 6, maybe by 5's 5, 10, 15, oops I fell asleep. I'll start over.
  23. Hi Dale, Welcome to the sight. You might as well go ahead and join because you won't regret it, you will truly enjoy it. The knowledge you will gain and friendship will be worth it all and more. Here is who Don was talking about. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/photopost/showcat.php?cat=16 Rick Butler. He has done my seat on two different bikes. He does great work. Take your time and look around and again welcome.
