Sorry I didn't post sooner. Had to go get my baby and bring her home. We made it home around 8:30 last nite. Hit some rain off and on but mostly it was a good trip. Hit alot of rain again today. apparently we had quite abit of it while we were gone all week. Had to drain some off the pool. Had a great time with everyone and we had a blast seeing everyone. We even got to make some new friends and helped them spend some money on their "new to them" venture. That's always lots of fun!! (Welcome Amy and Gary from Broken Arrow). sorry it all ended so soon. Can't wait to see you all again. Don't forget about the ride to St. Jude's Oct 4th. We need as many as possible going there. We get to see our Venturerider plaque on the wall. How great is that? Everyone is suggesting places to have it but I only see one member step up & actually volunteer to HOST this event...SNARLEY BILL. BILL, if it's decided that you can host the international next year in St Charles, Don & I will volunteer to be on your committee & lend a hand if you want us to. Don & Bill at the Mill Saturday

Well, we rode in our Beemer yesterday with the top down to a couple places here in Arkansas and thought of our fallen friends. Thanks Eck for suggesting the ride.

We'll let me just say that yes, it's been a great time. Enjoyed seeing everyone. Especially enjoyed sitting around and just visiting with everyone. As for b2dad and Snarley Bill, they love to get up early and go drink their coffee at Mcdonalds. I think there was some misunderstanding about the time and dad was there first. Then we decided to go to the Mill and check it out. Beautiful place with a real working mill wheel. Well the road over there was real twisty and Snarley Bill was having a hard time keeping up with the BMW in his new Ford truck. As you can imagine that sparked a heated debate between the two guys when we finally arrived. In fact one of the employees asked if they were related and they told her they were brothers from another mother!! We all enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and then a trip through the gift shop. Then it was a race back to the motel. Dad pulled over into the slow lane to let Bill catch up and yes, a Harley passed all of us. All in good fun. We met a young couple, Gary & Amy, our first morning here at breakfast and invited them to join us...which they did. They fit right in immediately and joined Ventureriders here almost immediately. Of course all the guys here started showing off their bikes and accessories so Gary & Amy were taking notes of the items they wanted. They already have the Wagner grill, so they are off to a good start now. They joined us for dinner that evening and for a fun chat session afterwards. It has been a great meet so far with more fun planned today. Wish you all were here. Patti

Stayed at Big Cedar Lodge, which is technically in Ridgedale, but just a stones throw from Branson. It was beautiful there but HOT!! it was over 100 every day. Which is why we toured a lot of caves, trying to beat the heat. Can't wait for the rest of the gang to get here. Going to be fun!!! AND Buddy brought me the best present ever!!! (Next to bringing Peg, of course!!!) Patti

Don (B2dad) worked at Goodyear tire & Rubber for over 30 years building tires. He wants to know what brand tires they are and if they have a "DOT" code number on them. Patti

Thanks to Dooder and Sharon for being great hosts. We had a fantastic visit with them. Thanks too for letting us stay in the guest cottage. Really nice place. Hoping we see you in Eureka Springs and hoping you get good news today. So where is everybody else???

Sorry Brenda that we won't be able to meet up as we are scheduled to meet with Buddy and several other VR members at eureka springs M & E. I thought you had signed up as well and we would see you there. Maybe we will see you another time. patti
