  1. Yeah, I'm an idiot. Neither front nor rear had any pressure. I've set front at 11 and rear at 40. Haven't ridden it yet. Smelled gas when I first got it back from mechanic, running pretty good. Have put over 400 miles on before the tire replaced. Now, after a little ride I have a carb leaking again. So looks like one stuck float and a sync. away from real riding. (Or moving on to the next issue that crops up. She sat two years on a fresh carb rebuild. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

  7. I've seen a ton of posts about using hand pump and whatnot. Just wasn't sure how much went where and for some reason the owners manual I had downloaded says it's no longer available for download. I would show you a video of my hand trying to demonstrate the wobble/floating/rhythmic, almost like if you had a clockface on the ground, like the bike is trying to float in a counter clockwise circle. Whole bike, not a handle bar rattling or vibration. Does video have to go on a YouTube link or something? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

  9. Got 75 miles in tonight. Have to get a cruise assist. Bike st started to wobble at about 68 miles per hour. Like she was reaching takeoff speed or something. I had changed the dampener setting from 4 to 3. And have the new tire. It did not do this before these things. In the past I had stiffened up the rear and cured the problem. What pressure should I have in my fork and rear suspension? I was putting along in a highway along our Platte River tonight, doing 45. The speed limit. When what to my surprise zoomed into my mirror? A kid on a little rocket. I moved over to let him pass. He got beside me and a rolled on the throttle just enuff to let him know I was wanting to play. We kind of goofed around a minute the he took of with a grin. He got about 30 feet ahead and then I stayed right there up to 90 then shut her down. He actually did a full turn head check when he didn't run away from me. We talked at the next stop. He was shocked when he saw my ride! I felt like Farm Truck from the 405! 12. Mom's challenges are over. TYJ! She went peacefully this morning. Cuz called an hour later and my girl's got her new Shoes on. I think mom stopped by and spooked him on her way out! ;-) Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  13. Mom hung on another day! We had a wonderful day with my 4 brothers and their wives. Dad has his moments. Today is day 6 of the vigil. I think mom enjoyed us all with our stories and tales. Found a journal of mom's that none of us kids had ever seen before. Photos and tales of my Great-Great-Great Grandmother's from 1887! Also was a blast hearing my brother's begin to brag about all the stuff they got away with while teens and young men. Something about all of us being in or 50's and 60's now, we no longer fear the parents wrath and could tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth! (Maybe just a little embelishment for color). Man did we have fun in the 70's! And nary a scratch to any of us! (You should have seen the faces of some of our kids to hear their dad's tales! PRICELESS! No call from cousin Jim on the tire but I didn't even notice til driving home at 1:30 this morning. Dad, Bless his heart, remembers that I have another bike but not that I am unable to ride it yet. Three times a day I get to explain that no, I didn't ride it down today. He knows the joy I get when CTFW and wants to see me having a good time. (If he told it once he told it 20 times, the story of how he was trying to follow me on my KZ650 back in 78, we had a 60 mile trip for one reason or another, "Man, We were at the last light on the edge of town and when it turned green I looked over and Steve was beside me and then he was gone! Looked ahead just in time to see his tail light disappear over the hill a mile away! He went everywhere fast on that thing.") So it's back down the road to wait to send mom home. (Thinking maybe we had so much silliness yesterday that mom was listening to story time and didn't want to miss any of the good stuff! She has always suffered from FOMO, hahaha) Love you Mom! Everyone is wearing down and out and trying to be ready to help Dad enter another new phase of this beautiful gift of life that we've been given. Hey Superman/Puc! You be careful out there flying around in you fancy pajamas! Thanks all! Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

  15. Good story! Many of my old biking buddies are some of the most conservative amazing Christian men. Or dead. It always amazed me as hippies and Drug people searching for truth that others people's search Led them to more lies, but many of us found life. My friends who went on to college and furthering their education became bleeding heart agnostic liberals. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  16. Got a tough question for you guys. My cousin, who owns the BMW motorcycle dealership here, has one mechanic but agreed to work my tire mounting in and thought I should have had it Friday or Saturday. He's squeezing me in. They closed Sunday and Monday for their weekend. So I'm hoping to have it tonight. In the meantime my mother took another fall and we've been holding a vigil while waiting for her to finish this Mortal time. This is the first time I've taken off from work in 8 years and have plenty of time that I could be wrenching and riding while waiting and taking turns sitting with Mom and Dad. Parents are in Lincoln I'm in Omaha. So my question, do I bug my cousin today to push for it or just be patient? I really wish I could be making trips back and forth on it for my mind's sake? Mom is 89. Has dementia that was making her so frustrated. We never thought we'd lose mom first but dad's being strong and they've had a long good life we know where she's going she's going to be fine, finally have clarity she's so searched for all her life. It's really tough blessing. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
