  1. I only see a couple of pages of members that live in Virginia. Click on Comminuty and scroll down to VA to see the list. Here you go with a link also. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/memberlist.php?do=getall&field6=58
  2. OK, I think the isolator will work on top of the battery. Just need to make sure & protect it from getting to the positive post of the battery. The HD lights will plug in behind the stock tail light without cutting any wires. I think I will only use the HD lights as additional brakes lights and not as constant running lights. I think the extra lights coming on will be more eye catching, but I may change my mind eventually. I hoping to find a way to convert the HD lights to LED in time if I can find a way without breaking the bank.
  3. Yes the adapter is on order and should be here Monday. So I will wire up my additional lights and get the trailer plug completed. Just wondering if anyone had some good ideas that I haven't thought of to place the module.
  4. My next question reference trailer wiring is where would be the best place to mount the power isolator for the trailer? Doesn't look like much room under the seat so I'm looking for additional ideas.
  5. Congratulations & Enjoy your trip and don't come back till about April. Maybe by that time winter will be over.
  6. Ill probably take the carb & fuel pump off this time to clean and soak them. Changing the fuel line wouldn't hurt. I'll let you know what I find.
  7. Not yet Eck. I haven't had time to take the carb back off yet. I hope to this evening or tomorrow.
  8. I'm starting to feel like Yammer collecting parts each week. Always heard who ever had the most at the end wins. LOL
  9. Every time I get close to another car in front of me I think about what would I do if the car straddled something in the road and what options I can take before it happens. I'm always thinking about "what if" while riding.

  11. Nice meeting you John & Lisa, had a great time, good food, & great camp fires (thanks for the wood)
  12. Back home safely after a great time. The "pig" was watching behind me all the way.
  13. I am looking to add more lights to the rear of the Midnight. I know they're HD but what are they called and where do I find a set? http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/09/26/je4u6yte.jpg
  14. We are here! http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/09/26/5yhu2adu.jpg
  15. You can't be too quick to judge because you only hear part of the story on the news first. I guess that's how they keep you listening for the "rest of the story".
  16. I should be there tomorrow (Thursday) by 3 or 4 pm. Not sure how many in my crew will be traveling with me.
  17. And thanks for the info on the lug nuts and center caps. I'll have to keep that information for later.
  18. I got this trailer 3 or 4 years ago and after a couple discounts I only got $150 in the trailer. The cargo box was purchase for $5 at a yard sale. Owner had lost the keys so they costed me $11 from Sears. Total not counting labor so far around $166.
  19. Gaining progress on mine now. Today I've completed grinding down the corners where I shortened it. Next I'll either start to disassemble for paint or decide which flooring I going to use on the bottom of the trailer. I would like to get a piece of diamond plate to add more bling. The box has not been attached but I do like the idea of the looped hooks inside.
  20. Mike that looks good. I bet a gold wing trunk would look good behind a venture
  21. Buddy I'll take it as long as the price isn't too high.
  22. Captain, I think we ran a ground...
  23. Rooster you got pics?? I could use another reason to get back down in that area for a couple days.
