  1. Got a passing light bar and brake handle. PM me if you want them. The light bar is the one for passing lights with turn signal mounts - no signals and only one halogen light is intact, but have the exterior case of one signal and all wiring. Let me know Mike Gardner
  2. I had no idea, Earl. You were great help when I was fixing my passing lights and needing that pesky hollow bolt. The ones you made worked terrific. Rode my bike to our Church's annual trunk or treat celebration with kids with saddlebags full of candy and your little drill press work made that possible. Was a big hit - lots of smiles I am sending you a little somethin somethin by paypal. Not much but you know, those of us who can should help one another. Maybe a few others would kick in too. VR's rock. Keep the faith. Lots of aircraft folks here in Wichita stuggling. Mike Gardner
  3. Found a nos oem pair of tan studded slant bags on Ebay. Just what I needed.
  4. Not my listing but nice set at a cheap price is on Ebay, motorcycle saddlebags new royal star std yamaha oem
  5. VR's rock. Got these today from Earl (SkyDoc) and they are perfect, stronger than OEM and with a hex head so I can really tighen them down withour worrying bout wires. Thanks Earl, you rock.
  6. Love the yamaha oem (corbin) tan leather on my scoot.
  7. You offically rock, buddy! Thanks again. Love this Bike. Mike Gardner
  8. Thanks to SkyDoc for making me some replacement bolts. VR's rock! Mike Gardner
  9. BTW - Even found the original bag from the light bar with an OEM part number RS-BAG-107-10698. Dealer still could not locate just the mounting bolt kit, only the whole light bar assembly. Grr.... M Gardner
  10. Hi Doc, Here are a couple of pics of the bolts 10mm standard thread, stamped 8.8 on head Cap head bolt with hex key (allen head) fitment A standard hex head shouldered bolt would work fine too as long as it is drilled out. Hole is about 8mm, enough for a couple (four) wires to pass through. 1.170 threaded portion 1.568 overall length Neither of these needs to be exact PM me your address if you need me to send the bolt as I have it out. Thanks for your willingness to make a couple for me. How about 4 if I happen to drop it again, don't intend to, but you never know. You officially rock! Mike Gardner
  11. Hey, I bought these on Ebay for future use. I also have a set of Samson trumpets 4x4. If you decide to look for a set of 4x4 replacements rather than going to the 4x2 setup, I am in Wichita. Just can't find the 4x4 new any more. My originals are in great shape too. Could be persuaded to part with one of the spare sets, if you are in need. Mike Gardner
  12. Very cool SkyDoc. Thanks. I will measure the other side and get those dimensions to you! I'll take 2! You are da man.
  13. If I had a drill press, I'd just make one of the little !@#$ things.
  14. Hey man. Thanks for looking. Dealer was not helpful as there seems to be no separate part number for just the bolt. All they have is the $$$ complete mounting kit with bar, bolts and adjusting washers and turn signal mounts. This sucks. All for the want of a little hollow allen head 10mm hollow bolt. Unbelievable. If any one else out there has one of these or knows where I can get one, give me a shout. M Gardner
  15. There is a set of Cobras on Ebay right now, and I have a set of Samsons I just bought. they do show up on Ebay from time to time.
  16. That would be amazing. RSV AND RS Riders rock.
  17. Is the hollow bolt 10mm, it is so mangled, I cannot tell!
  18. Yep. First drop of my 97 Royal Star. Cager pulled out in front of me at a 4-way stop just as I started. I stopped (thank God) in time but dumped the Bike over as I avoided her. No real damage except to my pride and the right side passing lamp and turn signal. Have the replacement lamp and signal located but I'll be @#$% if I can find anyone who sells the (10mm I think) hollow bolt that connects the passing lamp to the turn signal mount. Anyone have any ideas? Help! Michael Gardner 97 Royal Star
  19. I am looking for a pair of Tour Classic Studded Yamaha Sadddlebags for my newly acquired 97 RS. Would prefer tan leather since it sports tan corbin saddle and pillion and tank panel as used on the Palomino edition. Any condition, water stained are OK. If I can find a beat up set of black used ones, I will have them recovered in tan leather at a shop here. Tan ones pictured here below. Been looking on Craiglist and Ebay to no avail, and posted a classified here. Mike Gardner 2005 RSTD 2002 Honda Valkyrie (sorry) 1997 RSC Wichita, KS
