The blower resistor is a common issue with old F150s like my 2002. The fan quits working on any speed but high because the resistor is bypassed on high speed. It picks off a lower voltage from the resistor for the lower speeds. Easy to replace on my truck. I just had to crawl under the dash somewhat. Resistor was available at Advance Auto Parts.

Lots of owners are putting Harley Road King Mufflers on the 1st gens. If you do a search you can find out a lot of information. One member has a youtube video of his bike and he shows the mods he made including installing the RK muffs.

I had a few good bosses and more than a few bad ones. I very rarely had a supervisor, someone who actually kept up with the job. They seemed to go to meetings and stick to something other than communicating with the employees. Mostly they let me alone and I did my job. Working temporary contracts for 2 decades caused me to meet a few choice ones.

If I remember correctly, all of the guns were removed from the bombers to make them lighter so they could get off the ship's deck but it left them totally defenseless if a Japanese fighter approached them. Lots of very courageous men sacrificed themselves without hesitation in that war.

What! No photos! I thought Cowpuc had trained you better than that! My 85 Kawasaki ZN700 is a similar bike, 4 cyl 74hp, shaft drive. It needs a wider seat and highway pegs for long distance traveling but otherwise would do fine.

Nice! 4 cylinder, shaft drive. I was admiring one of those in a parking lot back in the 80's when the owner came out of an auto parts store with some oil. He was a teenager. Said he had recently gotten back from a trip to California. Rear tire was bald. It had over 40k miles on it and he said the only issue with it was burned valves because he never adjusted the valves.

Speaking of essays Puc, this winter seems much longer and definitely more boring without one of your adventure novels for us to read and enjoy like last winter!

Maybe exercise (more). It's the best youth pill I've found. Losing weight helps too! Working on both of those ideas!

I started this conversation and I had no knowledge of the Voyager kit. I want to thank everyone for their input. Entertainment, education, and friends are what this site is about. I'm happy I found this site and much thanks to Freebird for maintaining it. I learn something almost every day!

That was another event. I googled and found that the boy who killed himself with an uzi was actually 8 yrs old. The 9 yr old girl did kill the instructor. Both totally senseless.

Are the wheels rigidly connected or is there some suspension involved? If they are rigid, seems to me adjusting the air pressure could get you where you wanted. I don't think the training wheels will be loaded that much just going straight down the road so the tires shouldn't need a lot of air pressure.

If it pays the bills. If it doesn't pay the bills, get a job that pays the bills and follow your passion as a hobby!
