First if you can pull it then do so and check just the fuse for continuity -

OK mine was a rectangle glass fuse but yours could have been replaced? So you check it by continuity again but you must also make sure the contacts arent burnt. For the other main fuse box my question is is there power going to it? -

I should of mentioned to disconnect the relay from the battery before replacing the main fuse. Once it is disconnect you can measure the two nubs poles for resistance, if it shows infinity you know it is stuck -

OK, unfortunately I am not formidable with that year model. But there should be a main fuse my 91 had a glass one just off the battery red lead, check that carefully. Did you not mention that you had power to the fuse box? I'll stay on line with you for a bit -
Are we not forgetting the basics? Step one, check lash Step two check compression Step two might just point to step one so reverse the order to assume to know step one! What good is syncing carbs if you do not know the condition of the engine you are trying to sync? Just sayin

So for a quick pointer if you can tell us if you feel the starter hum or generate heat when you press the starter button? for now pull the headlight fuse to save power I reached out to puc but just missed him in the Chat room so I forwarded him pm -

you sprayed in by removing #10 to spray thru #12 and #12 leaked, is that what you are saying? -
So we covered this in another thread by DuRon... I don't remember when tho.. The first is to understand that what you are reading is low pressure or vacuum. Vacuum must be generated by the intake stroke! We can predict this by knowing what the compression strokes are doing, so what are those numbers? Do they fall in spec? Next is you by now have no bench sync so you need dance a bit to find the best compromise? Whoops there more, what rpm are you setting at? Did you first read the measurements off your tool by comparing the reading to one single carb before you hooked up all 4?

There are many discussions within the points you make above Puc. But remember assumptions are the mother of many a disappointments. Sue carbon deposits glow around the edges, but the should only be a lite smooth layering of, so more that that we need to look deeper. Sure we have a % of unburnt fuel in the pipes whether it be vapor or condensed. Also there exists a potential for improper mixing of air/fuel reducing a more efficient combustion. Yes that can be pushed thru into the pipe and yes air entering the pipe in sufficient quantity is the missing ingredient to allow for a second combustion; no argument there, and yes the closer to the exhaust port the greater the chance of said combustion. But that is not my point. What I see often and I mean often is the answers is assumed to be un metered air not what is going on above it which creates the potential in the first place! That is my point! What is the existing conditions in regards to expected bench marks! Lets remember some exhaust system have air injection for more than one purpose. -

Very sorry for this loss Bob. However and, this is important; what you and the family provided through her remaining time was a well supported fighting chance at a full life regained. We see that you stuck together, fought side by side not because there was no other choice rather, because you all chose to, that is the good and the love of a strong family and good people. That is a gift without strings, the best kind! What ever the reasons we must first pass away to next carry on, you all will be remembered by the Gate Keeper through this selfless effort! :2133: Peace

Amazingly Carl looked both ways each time before jumping into the traffic....lol Then Bum joint the pillow fight and it turn to the Dutch side of the family against the rest of the adopted brothers!!! Still laughing at some of the twisting curves this morning! Puc at one point said "get em Frenchy" What a bunch of misfits Mama RBig/ Rod Flyinfool Cowpuc Marcarl Saddlebum Patch EC where were you?

Yes but no that is actualy a low pressure cause weird one to explain. See the plate is closed so the thingy drops extra fuel.. we can get into it if y'all want -

Smoke comming from ???

On this we disagree Puc. The air is simply the missing ingredient, the question must be why is there uncombusted fuel in the pipes.. Just encase you think I mellowed -

Leaking out of overflow tube
Patch replied to Raider58's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
MiCarl is correct. Whn you find that one leaking take a small drop of tooth paste to the tip of the needle and then insert it back in and lap it like a valve for a few seconds, clean it well with WD try the blow test again. It may save you waiting on a kit PS you can use a small tubing to extend your grip
