Last year I discovered my 99 RSV trunk was cracked. It had never had the service bulletin fix from Yamaha completed. I went to a Yamaha dealer who took my VIN and photos and called Yamaha. Yamaha wasn't going to fix it. Dealer told me to call Yamaha personally and see if that would help. Yamaha sent me a new trunk base free of charge.
I am looking at an 06 goldwing with audio and comfort. 62,000 miles with lots of extras. Asking $9,500.00 Also an 08 goldwing with audio, comfort navigation and ABS brakes. It has 83,000 miles on it. Asking $10,700.00 Any thoughts?
Have any members dealt with this dealership. I am looking at a couple used bikes they have and thought I would check if anyone had any dealings with them.
Thanks,
Jim
I received a text this a.m. from a gentlemen interested in buying my 99 RSV. Area code is from Los Angeles. I am in Ohio. He said he is on an off coast oil rig worker and will pay by pay pal from his account to mine and have his pickup agent get the bike for him. I am responding to him to have his pickup agent bring the cash and he can have the bike.
I was at Sierra Electronics last week having a new antenna installed on my 99 RSV. The antenna and installation was $67.00 This included the time he took to install a new end on the cable going to the radio due to it being so corroded. They are great people to work with. They have been in business for 30 plus years. They do a lot of work on radioes, intercoms and cb radioes for bikes. They work on a huge amount of Honda Goldwings. Their website shows they repair 1999 - 2010 RSV radioes. I would not be worried about sending them a radio for repair. They will treat you right. Nice to have them 6 miles from my house.
