sleepy2 Posted Monday at 10:38 PM #377 Posted Monday at 10:38 PM @N3FOLyes I finally stopped procrastinated and on the way to fix, miss ridding but things were always coming up that had to take care of first! 1
N3FOL Posted Monday at 10:39 PM Author #378 Posted Monday at 10:39 PM Glad you are able to get the parts you need despite some minor issues with the gasket. I was just thinking, those bike parts are not cheap at all. Best of luck and sounds like the weekend is maintenance day for you.

You did the right thing. Priorities first aka family matters before riding. Friday delivery is not too far away.
sleepy2 Posted Monday at 10:47 PM #380 Posted Monday at 10:47 PM @N3FOL OEM parts from Yamaha dealer is $585can + 13%tax for the Stator, which is on back-order! Almost $300can +13%tax for the Voltage Regulator(which is available) so much better deal with a part that people say is better!
N3FOL Posted yesterday at 12:28 PM Author #381 Posted yesterday at 12:28 PM That 13% tax is a little on the high don't you think? You are probably used to it by now. I was not aware Canada has that much on sales tax.
sleepy2 Posted yesterday at 03:38 PM #382 Posted yesterday at 03:38 PM @N3FOL Yes it is! It is our HST(Federal tax) and PST(Provincial tax)which we pay on all purchases except food which is PST only! So when I bought my parts it cost me $48can in tax. 1
N3FOL Posted 22 hours ago Author #383 Posted 22 hours ago Good evening to all. My busy work schedule and thinking about 'cutting the grass' is worrying me for no reason. I am sure my grass will wait for me until Friday afternoon.
sleepy2 Posted 1 hour ago #384 Posted 1 hour ago @N3FOL Picked up a gasket today for$12can today from dealer that had one in-stock. Thanks for your offer anyways! Now just have to wait for parts to show up!
