Xvz1300 Royal Star choke lever

Hi I am new to this group and was wondering if anyone could help with the problem I have with the the choke lever, when I pull it out to start the bike it goes straight back in every time , bike is 2006 model with only 23000 miles  Thanks

Not really any help but, my 2006 has a similar habit. I have found that if I hold the choke rod out for few seconds after starting it stays put better.

Anyone have this problem,  pull the choke out and motor does not really Rev up

Sounds to me that somebody adjusted the wrong screw in a process where it didn't need adjusting. maybe?

Or choke cable length.

Will check this, there is a lot of mechanical linkage movement. Thanks for the response
