Not only does it afford a little extra safety in terms of extra rear lighting but it also adds to my comfort knowing it’s there... never the less, ride safe and watch your back! wes0778 Posted May 16, 2009 Share #27 Posted May 16, 2009 Have the same setup on my bike...see below: Since the pics, I've also added a light bar under the trunk....and have been pondering replacing the reflector under the plate with a knight riderz light bar.... That Knight Rider light bar was the simplest installation I've ever done. I didn't REPLACE the reflector, I just drilled a hole (for the wires) in the middle of it and stuck the light bar, using the supplied 3M double sidded tape, to the reflector. Then cut the wires to length, stripped them and just (yeah I know "southern engineered" them) unplugged the connections put the stripped ends in and re-plugged the connectors. All in all took 20 minutes. That and I added the tail light board from Biker Highway (the least expensive one I've found). The LEDs on it furnish plenty of light for illuminating the tag.
