In the past few days, besides installing a new ash dump door at the cabin, re-hanging a ceiling fan (previous owner did a lousy job hanging it), I also learned how to make apple sauce and apple butter....including how to can them! Apple sauce cooking..... Apple butter cooling in the sealed jars. left overs....lots of good peel there...but I can only eat so much...groan. $10 tool that made life easier.....still had to peel and de-core the tiny apples....but this was a great help.
