Eck Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 My son just sent me a bunch of pics but I only posted 3 of them for your enjoyment. I thought these were some pretty neat art / stuff made out of old cage parts. If I would of only thought of this when I was younger. I had access to all kinds of cage parts back then..
T.J. Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Art comes in many forms. Special for "Hot Rod" house.
Freebird Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Very cool. Would be great for a "man cave". Don't think my wife would find it compatible to her decor though.

My wife took one look at them, said uh-ha, not for me. They don't fit her decor either.. I wish I had a detached garage to have my own man cave with a bar area, pool table and where I could display my Coca-Cola collection.
Chaharly Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Those are pretty spectacular. I would love to try my hand at auto part art, but all the parts I take off of my cars are MUCH older and dirtier than that!
Eck Posted February 21, 2016 Author Posted February 21, 2016 A couple more pics to enjoy. I sure would hate to move the office desk...
cowpuc Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 JUST BEAUTIFUL ECKSTER:happy65::happy65:!! Never did well back in High School Art Class but I gotta hunch that if they would have been teaching Auto Art I would have been WAYYYYYYY more engaged!! Beautiful!! THANK YOU for sharing!!
VanRiver Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 I personally love "Auto Art"! I'm currently building a 1958 Cadillac bar in my house.....wife was not a big fan when I was pitching the idea, but is slowly warming up to it as I get closer to finishing the woodwork and putting the Granite in. Still lots of work to do!
Eck Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 @Vanriver, I think I would have had to rebuild the car itself. Hard to find those oldies in such nice shape. Your bar is going to be one of a kind. Great job! Let us all know when it is done so we can have VR.Org Meet & drink at your place!
