Mariner Fan Posted March 31, 2008 Share #1 Posted March 31, 2008 Geez, I know better than this! I pulled into my driveway after a nice ride on Saturday. For some reason, I had a brain fart and tried to do a u-turn at 1 mph so that I could back the bike into the garage. Well, I thought I could do this without putting my foot down so I ended up dropping the bike. At least I was able to practice the maneuver for picking up your bike from Ride Like a Pro! Good news is that nothing was damaged.......well, except my pride!
BuddyRich Posted March 31, 2008 Share #2 Posted March 31, 2008 Been there. It probably won't be the last time either.
pegscraper Posted March 31, 2008 Share #3 Posted March 31, 2008 Oh ouch dude. Sure glad nothing was scratched. Sometimes scratches on the bike are more painful than scratches on yourself. I have found that my sharp, low speed cornering skills are down this spring too. I haven't dumped it yet, but I can tell I'm unstable and lack the confidence to do it to the level that I could before. I need to get out and tighten up.
