Freebird Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 It's about time. http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2015/05/27/new-law-legalizes-three-wheel-polaris-slingshot-in-texas/
Dale124 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I didn't realize they were not legal in some places. I saw my first one out on the street here in Edmonton last week. Very cool. Dale.
djh3 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Car engine ???? Isn't that.... a car !!!! LOL So where would that put the Boss hogg trike thing? Chevy v-8 and 3 wheels?
Venturous Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Car engine ???? Isn't that.... a car !!!! LOL Maybe, but I would say the steering wheel and bucket seats are a dead give away... Saw several of these a couple days ago while riding the Cherahola Skyway. They were all riding in packs of motorcycles. And not in rear where I feel they should be. They were riding among the bikes. And these things take darn near the whole lane. I know I would not feel comfortable group riding with one of these dune buggies behind me. Or even having one in front of me. Not in a group formation anyway. There is a reason motorcycles in group formation run staggered. Putting these in that formation reduces ones escape route. Nothing wrong with these, or other cages being on group rides. But I feel they really should bring up the rear.
Great White Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Say what you want, that's a car someone lopped a wheel off to try and get around a few laws. Not saying someone shouldn't buy one or not be allowed to operate it, just what it obviously is.....
djh3 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 We Have a couple around here I think called a Stallion or something like that. Its got A/C for cripes sake!!
Huggy Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 In Ontario by definition in our motor vehicle act any motorized vehicle with 3 wheels or less is a motorcycle. So those three wheeled cars from Europe are considered motorcycles here.
