SilvrT Posted October 18, 2014 Share #4 Posted October 18, 2014 Pete, thanks for posting that. It was great to sit here at my computer and go for a ride in the comfort of my home while it's peeeing rain outside! Enjoyed your commentary too. Without that, it could have been a boring vid LOL
Bob Myers Posted October 18, 2014 Share #5 Posted October 18, 2014 Nice ride! Is it my imagination, do you upshift clutchless? Unless I'm really trying to build speed or run off and leave someone I have always done so.
Condor Posted October 18, 2014 Share #6 Posted October 18, 2014 Nice vicarious morning ride.... Thanks... The guy must not be a member of this board or he'd know how to get rid of that speedo moan. My speedo did that one cold morning up in Susanville way back when. Scared the crap out of me as it was my first long distance ride on the '83. It too went away once I slowed down to a crawl and then never came back until next time. Eventually found it to be the end fitting on the speedo cable to the back of the speedo had come loose. Once tightened it never did it again.....
suds Posted October 18, 2014 Share #7 Posted October 18, 2014 I subscribe to this guy, I find him entertaining. He did fix the whine in one of his videos on his channel. Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
cowpuc Posted October 19, 2014 Share #8 Posted October 19, 2014 Good one Pete!! Felt like I was on the bike, I actually noticed his cut down shield and caught his choke being left on long before he mentioned em:detective:. Real pretty bike!!! I still think he happens to be riding the best touring bike ever made - nothing fancy, run like a scalded dog, amazing comfort, rip the twisties and do em for ever!!
