Eck Posted July 8, 2014 Share #9 Posted July 8, 2014 Mike, The engine will release heat for a long time since it is near 90% enclose in that shelter. Keep your eye on the temp gauge and it should never go above half way. Mine never has. Put bike on center stand, pull left side chrome cover under seat and check water/ coolant level on the dip stick under the alternator. You can add coolant/water there if needed. I would check this water level for a few weeks to see if it ever goes down. If so, then you have a leak or your radiator cap is not tight. Being a 2012 model the cap should be ok.
