This weather bites the big one, for the last two days all we have been hearing around here is all the wrecks and closing of sections for the freeways do to ice. The weather forecast doesn't show any improvement so I won't be showing up tomorrow because of the wind, cold and ice. Gary said if it improves tomorrow he might make it but will make his final decision tomorrow. Hope you all have a good time and get there and back safely.....Karl

Okay officially not going to make it. We went out and was plowing snow with the under side of the car. Had some breakfast and can't get on the highway 401 West bound. Tried two different places and both have gates closed preventing you from getting on the highway.

Came home and thought I was going to be shovelling the road to get home. Almost got stuck, had to back up and take a stab at it about 6 times.

Going out to shovel and then not sure what is going to happen.

Eddie did you have a rain day LOL

 Dropping like fly's, I guess our Canadian friends can't drive in the snow :stickpoke: . Since there won't be anyone crossing the border to join us, maybe we should move the meet to this side of the lake, it would cut off a good chunk of the drive time. Mt Clemens, Chesterfield, Sterling Heights or something. What y'all think? :stirthepot:

Sorry if I scared anyone off with that weather report, Yes it was fairly nasty out there till about 1pm then it cleared up and roads became dry. By the time we left the house around 4 it was business as usual on the freeways. Bone dry roads all the way there and home again tonight.

Posted a couple pics on BongoBobs post http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=84015

Anyhow we had great food and greater company to share it with.

Larry
