Black Owl Posted December 27, 2012 Share #3 Posted December 27, 2012 This was run on the national news channels until it was determined that it was a school video project. If I remember correctly, it was ginned up by students in Toronto, or one of those other frozen over boreal cities.

If I remember correctly, these kids won some kind of contest or something like that. Amazing job they did ... all video graphics. FWIW, Canucks are leading the world when it comes to such things.... some of the best video games out there are produced right here in Vancouver (Burnaby actually). It was their final grade assignment for their university course. The goal was 100,000 hits or something similar and we the public critiqued them so they knew where they had to improve. The two biggest things were the crooked wing of the bird and no shadow of the child under the bird as it flew off.

The two biggest things were the crooked wing of the bird and no shadow of the child under the bird as it flew off. In the last part of the video linked in first post, during the slow motion portion, there is a shadow of the child. Not as pronounced as the bird's, but it is there, it even tracks the baby as it is dropped. Maybe this is an improved version. Gary
