Bubber Posted May 21, 2012 Share #1 Posted May 21, 2012 (edited) I purchased a damaged spare front fairing during the winter and now it is out to paint. I want to add some graphics and be able to switch the two fairings off and on when I feel the need. So anybody go any good sources for good graphics? I was thinking a flame outline with real flame inserted in the outline. I have tried some of the online places but just can't find what I want. You guys got any ideas? Scooter Bob Posted May 21, 2012 Share #2 Posted May 21, 2012 REAL FLAMES in the outline. Sounds neat Bubber. Gonna use LP canister??? Later, Scooter Bob
Flyinfool Posted May 21, 2012 Share #3 Posted May 21, 2012 LP flames are to hard to see, especially in sunlight. Gasoline or diesel fuel make a nice bright orange flame. You already have gasoline on board.

Black Owl Posted May 21, 2012 Share #8 Posted May 21, 2012 If you have a few hundres to spare, I can hook you up with the best custom flame painter in the area. Veeeeeeeeeery pricie but he does excellent work. Does most of the flame work on the custon street rods in the area.
Scooter Bob Posted May 22, 2012 Share #9 Posted May 22, 2012 Gasoline or diesel fuel make a nice bright orange flame. You already have gasoline on board. Ya, but, with all the ethanol in the gasoline, would that still show up good enough??? Better buy RedRider's spare auxilliary gas tank to carry some Diesel fuel. Scooter Bob and Flyinfool aren't you supposed to be at work or something? I was, but now that I'm home (and not on my phone) I can do multiple quotes and smillies and all that good stuff. Keep the stuff coming I appreciate it. Will do Buddy. Seriously, good luck on finding what you're after, and lookin' forward to seeing it at WIMD.
