Turn Signals and Tail Light

Has anyone changed out their Tail Light for one of the Halogen or Xenarc bulbs? Also, what about changing the turn signals to a brighter bulb that are available. I'm concerned about the heat build up especially in the turn signals, but it's winter in the Northwest and I want all the light possible in the dark and rain.

Think this is the 33 LED board, but still bright. Low load and very little, if any, heat.
