SilvrT Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 hey Wingers... what brand / part number oil filter are ya'll using on your GL1800 ??
Eck Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Fram.. I get the oil and oil filter from Wal-Mart. Forgot the Oil Filter number off top of my head..it's in their filter book under Goldwings. Not worried about it breaking apart..as some say it will do... I change my oil every 3k religiously...
Jactana Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Pure One 14610, or Bosch 3323. All the same one's that fit your Venture fit your Honda.

Pam Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Thanks also guys, last filter I bought for my wing was at a dealer for $25.00. Won't be doing that again. frank
SilvrT Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 Googled "oil filter cross reference" and came up with this handy list... http://www.calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/FilterXRef.html
coy55boy Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 I use Purolator Pure One PL14612. It's a little longer than the 14610 but has more filtering media. It's a tight fit, but it has terrific filtering specs and a good back flow valve.
kj5ix Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I have been using the ST-7317 filter from Wally World for several years on both the GL1800, and the RSV. It is the longer filter and have had 0 problems. Cost $2.97 ea..... Also get oil ( Rotilla T-6, and Mobil 1 there )
