What Oil Filter?

hey Wingers... what brand / part number oil filter are ya'll using on your GL1800 ??

I get the oil and oil filter from Wal-Mart.

 

Forgot the Oil Filter number off top of my head..it's in their filter book under Goldwings.

 

Not worried about it breaking apart..as some say it will do...

I change my oil every 3k religiously...

Thanks also guys, last filter I bought for my wing was at a dealer for $25.00. Won't be doing that again.

I use Purolator Pure One PL14612. It's a little longer than the 14610 but has more filtering media. It's a tight fit, but it has terrific filtering specs and a good back flow valve.

I have been using the ST-7317 filter from Wally World for several years on both the GL1800, and the RSV. It is the longer filter and have had 0 problems. Cost $2.97 ea.....

Also get oil ( Rotilla T-6, and Mobil 1 there )

Are you using the Rotella T6 in your Wing?
