OB-1 Posted March 17, 2011 Share #5 Posted March 17, 2011 This article is a total BS! Just look at this paragraph from the referenced article; "Sarah McDaniel, with DFW Airport, told NewsRadio 1080 KRLD that it was an extremely low level and posed no danger to passengers on the flight. She says it was also not the type of radiation that would have come from a nuclear power plant." The article contradicts the headline. The problems at the nuclear plant in Japan cannot cause radiation to reach the USA or Canada.

And always remember to TRUST what the government says.... And what about all the contaminated seawater they are using on the core........where is THAT gonna go? BuddyRich Posted March 17, 2011 Share #14 Posted March 17, 2011 One of the jobs we had in the USAF was pilot survival training in a "nuclear " environment before and after ejection. There ain't nothin to worry about or even think about as far away as that is. The news is the news and just love to be alarmist. How else you gonna sell advertising if you don't have something to scare people into reading your site or newspaper.

midnightventure Posted March 17, 2011 Share #17 Posted March 17, 2011 Most of us mid westerners of a certain age were exposed to a lot more than will show up from Japan because when we were kids they tested atomic bombs above ground in Nevada. midnightventure Posted March 17, 2011 Share #18 Posted March 17, 2011 A lot of basements have radiation narurally occurring. The real story is all the death and suffering and all the news people want to talk about is the nuclear problem because they have a hidden agenda. MikeWa Posted March 18, 2011 Share #20 Posted March 18, 2011 The small amount detected at Dallas was from medical equipment in the hold of the airplane. This is a very common occurrence and only news because of events in Japan. There was no decontamination of the passengers or airplane taking place. The tragedy is in Japan. People are in a desperate condition and in many cases help is not coming due to radiation fears. Large numbers of people injured, freezing and without food or water are still dieing. It is an ongoing tragedy. Mike P.S. If anyone wants to donate here is a good link. http://www.salvationarmy.or.jp/index_english.html
