N3FOL Posted January 25, 2010 #1 Posted January 25, 2010 I just removed my rear tire this afternoon and will be taking it to a dealer to install my new tire. Do I need to remove the rear brake disk for them to balance the tire? Oh yes, I do have pics on my rear tire removal...will be posting soon.
Tartan Terror Posted January 25, 2010 #2 Posted January 25, 2010 Leave it on. Its part of the spinning mass so it should be balanced too.
N3FOL Posted January 25, 2010 Author #3 Posted January 25, 2010 Thanks for your speedy reply. I feel much better now...the new and old tire is already in the car. I'll be busy working in the garage after work tomorrow.
