cimmer Posted December 23, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 23, 2009 Anyone had any dealings with cyclepartswarehouse.com out of Texas. I was noticing their prices were cheaper on some of the 1st gen items then Flatouts were so I thought I would give them a try. Thanks.. Rick F. skydoc_17 Posted December 24, 2009 Share #2 Posted December 24, 2009 Hey Rick, Merry Christmas to you and your family, by the way. Try PartShark.com I don't think you will find a cheaper price on OEM parts than this. http://partshark.com/ Good Hunting, Earl
YamaDuck Posted December 24, 2009 Share #3 Posted December 24, 2009 I just checked cyclepartswarehouse.com and http://partshark.com/ with http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/. The local Yamaha dealer wanted $16.63 for a part, http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/ had the same part for $8.30, http://partshark.com/ had the same part for $8.06 and cyclepartswarehouse.com had the part for $7.84. Now saying all that it is obvious who has the better price. Now I have run into this situation before where someone had as good a price or better than http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/ but when you get a price quote on shipping and handling http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/ was a lot cheaper not a little but a lot cheaper. They do not jack up there shipping charges by adding a handling charge. Now I have never ordered from the other two parts suppliers mentioned here so I can not say which one has the best shipping prices BUT... When I told my local ripoff Yamaha dealer I could get them same part for half the price they told me to make a copy of the cart with the parts listed with the price and they would match it. Now the tax on a $45 order is a lot cheaper than anybodies shipping charge unless you can get free shipping.
