I pulled mine off a couple of weeks ago and then the 2010 RSV's came out without them. 10 lb fishing line took them right off. Now that double sided sticky tape was not so easy. 3M makes some adhesive remover that sure made it a lot easier than it could be without it. It was stuck pretty good. I think it looks better without them. Not particular fond of the flames that the 2010 bikes have on them. It seemed to clean up the front fairing to me. My bike is a Midnight and I do not have any photos as of yet and won't be back home till Wednesday to get some photos. Not sure it would help any since you got a Blue/Black RSV. Seems to have a cleaner look. I always thought they kinda looked like an afterthought. Used the fishing line technique etc etc... Renne PGR USAF Ret.
