jneed53 Posted June 30, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 30, 2009 I was just looking at the repair manual for rear wheel removal procedures and could not help but think it can't be required to just about disassemble the whole rear of the bike to get the wheel off. Theyre living in the "lets charge them the maximum per hour that we can get away with world" Personally, I drop both bags so I can clean up the whole area better. I also remove the whole rail system under the bags as 1 piece to give me much clearance. Caliper too. What I also do is to use a floor jack under the wheel (once its raised on the bike jack of course) to raise and lower the wheel. Sure makes it easier on the back.
