Patriot Guard

Today, I heard a bunch of bikes outside, and when I looked, there were motorcycle troopers leading 2 buses full of Ft. Campbell soldiers coming back home. They were followed by about 50 riders, and several cars, all displaying flags. It was pouring rain...hard...really hard. I am sure they were Patriot Guard members. I have thought about joining the Patriot Guard for some time now, and I know there are several members on here. Could one of you hook me up with a number and name of a chapter that is close to me in West Tennessee? I would REALLY appreciate it. Us Vets like to take care of each other.

Thanks in advance.

Patrick

There are many of us here that are members of the Patriot guard, I had the sad honor of leading the 1st one in Michigan with the help of Ohio's state captain Bob "Tater" Smith. It's a very sobering experience to help bring a fallen comrad to his home and share the pain of a families loss. Welcoming the ones back home is something I haven't had the privilege of doing. Thank you for your interest and support for our warriors.

It easy to Join and get in contact with your State Captain, just log on to www.patriotguard.org and read the mission statement and if you feel the same way, then join. your State Captain should then contact you and /or you can go to the forms and look for your state and drop a line and let people know you joined.

Thanks guys. I have signed up on the forums, so it's a good start. My forum name there is Fireman519.

Oh, and I found out on the forums that they were sending off some TNARNG troops. They were escorting them to Ft. Campbell to deploy. I had bad information in my 1st post.

Hey Brother Patrick,

You done good! It will be the best organization you've ever joined. California has been hit really hard with KIA's, consequently I've got over a hundred+ missions under my belt! It does not hurt so bad when it's a Viet Nam Veteran, but when these Heroes are 18, 19 or in that age group and older, then the tears flow.

Thank you for your Service to our Great Country!

Ride Safe My Brother!!
