Dano Posted March 27, 2009 Share #3 Posted March 27, 2009 Is the fuel pump running? listen for clicks when you turn the key on. Open up a drain screw on one of the carbs and try it again. Put everything together, including the air box and filter, and try it again. These beasts won't run without these things in place. Others will be on with more! MiCarl Posted March 27, 2009 Share #4 Posted March 27, 2009 You need to check the following: 1 - Check that you have +12V on the red/white wires to the coils. 2 - Check that you have +12V on the red/white wire at the Ignitor 3 - Make sure the black/white wire at the Ignitor is not grounded (sidestand/neutral circuit). juggalo2485 Posted March 27, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted March 27, 2009 (edited) ok i pulled the pickup coils off yesterday and checked them and they have a resistanc of about 113.8 wich looks to me like there fine according to the service manual on here i check the stator and was getting a resistance of .08 not shur if it should be higher or not but ill check on some other things before i put it together. also before i put the new tci back on i got it running but it was only rinning on the two back cyclenders so im wondering if i didnt got a bad tci Edited March 27, 2009 by juggalo2485 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
