Tartan Terror Posted March 19, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 19, 2009 In the hinge are of the tape deckI know there is one spring that pushes the door open when you press the door to release it. I found one when I took it out. Now what Im not sure of becuse it kind of fell part when I was taking the door off for paint and one fell out and i thought there was another. Is there one spring or two?

SilvrT Posted March 19, 2009 Share #7 Posted March 19, 2009 If I recall correctly, there is only one spring... and I have the empty cassette box complete with the door and spring intact .... I'm at work so will check tonight when I get home re: one or two springs but I'm pretty sure it's just one.
KiteSquid Posted March 19, 2009 Share #8 Posted March 19, 2009 Actually I cant find that diagram but if you all say one spring then Im good. I have one. The drawing I was referring to is HERE HOWEVER once looking at it, I cant find the door...... sorry.... look at the last page and it is there, but not as a separate unit. Also note the note that says the drawing is continued on the next page.....
