Yup, if you swap out the entire front end you just bolt on the brake lines. You will also have to swap out your master cylander for both the front and rear as the calipers have a larger area and require more hydraulic pressure to effectively work. The biggest thing you can do to improve brake performance is to switch to stainless steel brake lines. Rick at Buckeye Performance can fix you up with brand new lines ready to go for around $400 and it's well worth it!!

 

You have to use the newer calipers and rotors as they are a different size. The anti dive uses the brake light signal to fire the relay for the anti dive.

was planning to swap out the front end and leave the rear the same -- i found a 89vr that has front end damage most of the faring is cracked but bike is in good shape --now i can put put my faring off my 84 but the coloring is defferent and i do not know about the head light???
