Easeonby Posted August 24, 2022 Share #1 Posted August 24, 2022 I just lowered the front of my 2010 Yamaha Royal Star Midnight Venture. I did the procedure of lowering the triple tree on the front forks. I dropped it down 1 inch and what difference from feeling top heavy to better balanced. Much easier off the kickstand, even with a full tank of fuel. Handling has improved, took it out up to 70 mph and no issues at all. I want to thank the people who posted this procedure, now I can be flat footed with some bend in my knees, It took me about 2 hours, lots of wiring to disconnect, but not bad at all.
djh3 Posted August 25, 2022 Share #2 Posted August 25, 2022 So you will have to look. But I think its a 130 front tire I went to that also helped with handling
