rumboogy Posted December 26, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 26, 2009 I went to the Dealer today and was going to go ahead and get a couple of keys made. I had one of my own blanks to be used for a custom key, but thought I would get a couple of more keys cut...YEOW. When the guy at the counter told me the price of the OEM key...$45.60. DANGGGGG The guy did tell me they had some plain blanks they sell, but those were backordered right now... So be careful with that OEM Key...thars gold in that thar key. N3FOL Posted December 27, 2009 Share #4 Posted December 27, 2009 As expected, you will always pay premium price if you get it from a dealer. I guess the only good thing is that your spare key will have the Star Logo on the Key itself. The Locksmith may not have those beautiful looking keys like the OEMs.
