I'm planning a possible trip to see a friend in Washington, In. this weekend. This is a meeting point for both of us and we were thinking of a possible motorcycle ride since i'll be on mine. (he doesn't have one YET!!!) Does anyone know of any rental places around this area? We would like to see some of the countryside while were there! Thanks, Big Mike

Wow, I just gave my little girl away in Marriage. It's kinda hard to believe how quick our kids grow up! My daughter Erin and her new beau Trevor. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3023/2895515933_bb8e45bc5c.jpg We got a chance to hang out in our old stomping grounds in Spokane Washington. Typical to see deer in the back yard. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3208/2895778951_0157431073.jpg We took the opportunity to drive over to the West side and visit family there. My son Kyle lives in Ballard. It's an area that has locks that allow travel to lake Union and Washington. To get there I took one of the floating bridges. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3037/2895771511_cdfbf29ee9.jpg The locks at Ballard are pretty cool. Salmon run up a fish ladder to the side. You can see them through a window down below. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3105/2896589650_1732bd8da0.jpg Boat Traffic through the locks. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3148/2896588028_e7b9620640.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3084/2895747291_2a9a937d55.jpg We also got to meet our the newest member to the family. Our great niece Isabel. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3202/2896552650_0073cceaca.jpg We had a ton of fun and saw a bunch of family and friends. It was tough to leave the Northwest! And yes, I caught a Mariner game in Seattle. Took my son Kyle with me. Can't beat that for good times! By the way, I saw a silver Venture in Spokane. I'm thinking it might have been an '05 after talking with Brad about the description.

Just to post some pics of bikes and snow.... ooh and by the way I had to go to the USA to find the snow. We have not seen that much snow here for about 10 years.... Me on my 86 Venture and my brother on his 06 BMW 1200GS..... The back ground is the Olympic Peninsula in beatiful Washington State. What a fantastic place to ride... clean and simply just awsome views and I love the road surfacing..... Ride safe and have fun all

RE: Our ride of a lifetime I can't believe we attended Sunday morning services in Rapid City, South Dakota, and just ate supper with our daughter near Washington DC this Tuesday evening. We arrived safe and dry, thank the Lord. For those who know of our ride through the blizzard in Montana, we had a great ride to Olympia, Washington then back to Yellowstone. This time the weather was great! The pass over the Bighorn National Park was awesome - Mt Rushmore - indescribeable! We have a week to spend here with our daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandkids. Then we head back to Arkansas via the Blueridge Parkway. The only trouble we've had (other than the blizzard on two Montana passes) is that my Piggybacker XL is EATING TIRES. 6,000 miles plus and counting Missionary Rider
