took a ride to the Kinzua Bridge in Pa. on sunday. nice day for a ride. if you have been there before you already know how nice of a view it is. but what i found out was that they now will let you walk out onto the part of the bridge that is still standing and they put a glass floor at the very end of it so you can look through floor i believe 366 ft down. just putting this out there for anyone that likes to just go see that area.
i have not tried that. i will check and see if it works in the cage? i was told by a friend to by the harness that powers it direct from the battery. i found one with the company i bought my mounting kit from.
i mounted a garmin nuvi on my HD ultra classic and i have a lighter in the fairing but when i plugged it in it would not charge my gps. the red indicator light was on but the gps would not charge. do i have to wire it direct to my battery?
i was just looking at the map and if you are looking at the list of people on the map and click on the button to the right to show on the map, seams like they all show up on the map instead of just the one you were looking at. some areas have a lot of pins in a group and it is hard to pick out just one certain pin. is this how it is to be or am i not doing something right?
i had an 06' RSV and loved it but i now own an 09' HD ultra classic. wouldnt trade back for anything. as far as i'm concerned they both have there pros and cons. the HD just fit me better because i am kinda short in the inseam. loved them both. nice bike:cool10:
my kids are groan up but that is funny. we are having a nice Easter. went to a morning church service and then out for dinner with entire family. hope you have good Easter as well.
depending on far you want to travel there is Kinzua Bridge State Park, Hamlin, PA. it is about 150 miles from Watkins Glenn. nice country about 1 1/2 hrs north of where i live. also grand canyon PA in welsboro is nice.
i built my own and installed it my self not hard at all, course then i never bought a trailer so i never used it. although my yamaha dealer had to remove it to replace my back tire and they would not put it back on due to liability issues is what they told me.
if you have ever traveled down the Blue Ridge Park way from Virginia to NC. the stone barrier for gaurd rails start ouot at ground level and end at ground level. just for a second thought about riding up on the stone rail and then off the other side. course my wife would have nocked some sence into my head before i could have gotten that far.:rotf:
