thanks Bob im about to tackle this beast of a job so i can scuff the tire before the rain gets here supose to get up to 74 tonight which only means cold rain behind it and cold day tomorrow

is the one not asked so here goes do i have to take the exhaust pipes off of both sides to get the wheel off to change the tire also i dont have my tire spoons any more they seem to have grown legs over the last year but i really need to get this tire changed as i have been riding on a bald tire for the last month i have a new one but took me 6 months to save up for it so i cant afford to have a shop do it and i really need to learn this stuff any suggestions and helpfull tips would be greatly appriciated and Squidly i would have came out to tx if i would have trusted the tire but i just didnt feel comfortable with it and i have only put 150 miles on it since i posted about tire size and you couldnt drive a needle in during that 150 miles too:confused24:

Jack one of my neighbors now has a 1st gen i was looking it over and noticed a supperbrace on it i had to get on here and look at what you offered and low and behold its an exact image of a condor supperbrace i did meet the po and he said he got it from a friend who orderd it from this site and he recomends it highly i told him i am a member of this site and already have plans to order one when my situation gets better he said your brace makes a world of difference and you cant beat the price he passed this on for you Thank You he is now a goldwinger lol

i prefer a condor brace one of my neighbors bought an wrecked 87 po dropped it in a ditch and busted the fairing and it has a condor brace on it and still looks good

can anyone tell me if the 130 90 16 is ok to run on the 84 or should i stick with the 140 90 16 i need a tire bad on the bike ( its bald now) but can not afford the 129 for the dunlop 404 i can pick up local thats with me installing it and i have no idea what im doing but i need to save a buck that i dont have and can order a kinda k671 130/90/16 for 60.88 from amazon or the kinda k657 140/90/16 for 71.17 i really cant afford either tire but i got to have one or ill be walking suggestions are appreciated

i will just take the one on the bike and do the jumpers and while im there stick this one in to see if it does work if it does then i have a spare if not then in the trash but i will have to re solder a couple of joints on the board that look like cold solder joints

here is the other side this is a cluster i bought in GA last October before my accident on the 99 RSTD im just now getting around to breaking it down i have led on the brake lights and running lights so i figured i would do the jumpers on this one so it would be a quick swap out to shut off the warning light but now im getting worried about it i don't know if it works and don't want to waste my time on it if it doesn't work especially after a long grueling day of work looking for a job which i was not successful at today but tomorrow looks promising

im no expert but i would say dirty out of adjustment carbs and poor sync i have that problem to but once it does warm up it gets better
