  1. Thanks! I have to admit I didn't think of that. I will have to look into this next spring as my bike is already i storage for the winter
  2. I'm wondering if anyone has a decent exhaust crossover from a Gen 1. The pipes on my '86 are starting to burn through where the mufflers attach. What is a used one worth? There is a complete exhaust system on e-bay, but I don't need all the extra parts.
  3. Yes I have seen one. There is one sitting in a museum in Austin, Manitoba, Canada that looks to be in very good condition.
  4. Yup....they look like a Harley, so may as well act like one!!
  5. That's the exact feeling I got when I sat an a 2nd Gen......a very good reason for me to never own one other than I don't really like the overall look of the bike.
  6. I agree with your logic....surprising it even gets off the ground.
  7. I don't know if it is the same seat, but the RSV I sat on has a terrible seat. It looks super comfy but when I sat on it the front of the seat seemed to push the privates into my body. I sat on it for about 30 seconds to see if I could get comfortable, but for me it was not possible. I wish you the best of luck finding a solution to your seat issue.
  8. Yep, that's what I was thinking.....then it would be a death trap.
  9. I watched the first 2 min and shut it off. Not my thing at all.
  10. The only thing can say is if one hasn't anything good to say, don't say anything at all...so no comment.
  11. Not enough brains to hold his ears apart.......not the shovels fault, and now he has to buy another one.....
  12. That is a really good deal on a battery. If I was needing one I would certainly be on that.
  13. That is one of the ugliest pieces of motorcycle design I have seen. I don't care what it is meant for, you couldn't get me on that for anything.
  14. If you are just worried about the turbo lasting for 200K, then think about this. All power units for semis have turbocharged diesels, and most will make upwards of 1M miles without too many serious issues, so I think the turbo would not be a concern.
  15. I guess its nice to dream, but here the reality is its more than 6 weeks of winter every year regardless of an overgrown gopher not seeing his shadow.
