  1. Any chance of finding the drivers backrest and brakets at an aftermarket supplier? I've looked but no luck.I'd love to have one on my '86.
  2. Just put 200 miles on the new back tire I got for my FZ6. Kinda windy out but up to 70o now.
  3. Thank you. I actually wasn't sure about the plug's positioning. The picture in the manual is a little vague. I just got the bike and was changing out all of the fluids. That valve was pretty gunked up which made it hard to tell exactly how is was supposed to work.I'll get that o-ring changed out this week too. Thanks
  4. Thanks. Now I understand how it's supposed to work.
  5. Coolant drain on the front of my '86 VR is dripping. To replace that o-ring you remove the little set screw in the side and then does that plastic plug unscrew or wiggle out of there. That fitting and the little hose on top were plugged up with a reddish brown clay when I flushed the system, now that I cleaned everything out it started leaking. Thanks
  6. I agree with longrider805.I live in Corpus Christi and enjoy riding up through Victoria.Things start to get a little more scenic away from the coast. That 3 sisters ride is about 3 hours away, west of San Antonio at Leakey.Fun,I did it on an FZ6 though, lots of sharp corners.
