    Thanx for the help MiCarl we dont have a "Batteries Plus" around these parts---I cant beleive they just sold me the battery casing --and at $79.99 at that!!

    I ordered a Battery from RJ ATV in Spring Hill,Florida to replace the dying one in my 1989 Venture---upon opening the box I am told per the instructions that there is no ACID in the battery and no ACID in the box!-WTH???!!----What now?---do the auto parts stores carry the acid??---

    I just received my battery that I ordered from RJ ATV in Spring Hill,Florida and upon opening it and admiring it I am told that there is no ACID in the battery and No ACID in the shipment---What a RIPOFF!----what do I do now---do the auto parts stores sell the acid?

    site says it cant indentify Vin#--that sux!---typed in JVA1NLEOXKAO28509 and JYA1NLEOXKAO28509 thinking the V might be a Y and got the same results---"can't identify":doh:

    I'm trying to buy an owners manual for my 1989 venture royale and the site is asking me if it is a XVC13DW or XVC13DWC model--anyone know the difference and how can I tell the model I have????

    Tried to go for a ride today--No luck---battery was dead---I jumped it and rode for 30 minutes then turned her off--nothing on the restart attempt but a slow Grrrrr then tick- tick:doh:---I have only had the bike for about 2 weeks but the previous owner gave me paperwork showing that he had replaced Battery-starter-stator all in November of last year.........I jumped it off again and while it was running I removed the ground cable--she kept on running--also the voltage meter shows it is charging just fine......think I just got a Bad "new" battery?---............................Larry
