WV Waterfalls: falls of hills creek : http://www.takemytrip.com/08vapawv/08n_24a.htm WV Caves: Organ Cave: http://www.organcave.com/ (Need a new t-shirt from Organ cave around Greenbriar area.) Lost World Caverns: http://www.lostworldcaverns.com/ Seneca Caverns:http://www.senecacaverns.com/ Smokehole Caverns: http://www.smokehole.com/ Scott Hollow cave- CLOSED I found a link/map with all the caves in the area:http://www.goodearthgraphics.com/showcave/wv.html Will most likely be doing a New England covered bridge tour 2nd week of October if weather holds up. As always anyone interested is more than welcome to ride along.
  2. I'm In.... There's suppose to be caves in that area also?
  3. Just a suggestion, but wouldn't it be a better to suggest aforementioned rides as you become aware of them, for "all" to attend, as soon as you know of them? Kind of puts a damper on those that wish to host rides.
  4. I went to Colorado last year... will probably take a trip out there again next year...Glad you enjoyed it. I for one never enjoyed group riding. Too much bickering and drama. Anything more than 3 or 4 bikes takes the fun out of it.
  5. Only if I can bring my 30-06 and keep the pelt! Just kidding. Hummmmmmmmmmmmm... I would like a lion rug... I have never done Florida until March mainly due to having to drive thru the northern weather. Best advice is to make a new post in the camping section and see if there is any interest... We have Plenty of members in Florida that might be interested...
  6. Looks like they recommend oxygen... I know they quit wrapping busted ribs last time I broke mine. Said wrapping them contributed to pheumonia. The oxygen makes sense...
  7. Noticed that... I normally like xl so if they don't offer in 2xl? outta luck I guess.
  8. if its that hot, try a camelback(lightweight bicycle version) filled with ice under a leather jacket.... That way you'll stay hydrated and cooler. I like to place large ice cubes in mine as they last longer. Like the 3" opening. I'm riding in mid 80 to 90 deg. range...
  9. Has a built in kidney belt...hummm...
  10. You still have 5 weeks to go before those ribs are going to get back to normal. Don't rush it... Besides, what can you do for busted ribs beside waiting for them to heal???
  11. Anyone tried this? Have a mesh jacket but to still hot to wear in summer. This looks doable with a white long sleeve jersey like in video http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/32867/i/axo-air-cage?SiteId=Criteo_AbandonedCart_64-135&WT.mc_ID=11325
  12. Dan, you better put a helmet on... she reads your posts and will probably change the locks on the garage...LOL
  13. Puc, you are in Penny and my thoughts and prayers.
  14. No. At his point I'm all hosted out, and, there's way to much going on here for me to get all this work done. Looking forward to a road trip soon to see my oldest daughter.
  15. Dan, If you're ready to ride ***** for a few miles, I'm more than willing to take you up to Summit Lake for some Trout fishing... Heck, those bones are already busted and all... I'm just saying...
  16. Seems to be no interest in camping this summer?
  17. Hope you are ok buddy... If you need anything let me know. I've got a trailer and can give you a ride back... Will call tomorrow morning.
  18. Probably should move this to religious and inspirational... PC police and all... I'm a catholic and have also been taught that God hears all prayers. This guy sounds like he doesn't have a clue how it's suppose to work... Prayers up for Skid, and I Hope he has good weather and Grrrreat time at the beach!
  19. Went early with some friends. Got back yesterday late. Caught 6 Rainbow Trout, Biggest being 20". After I cleaned and bagged them it was 6 1/2 lb. of pure trout. I caught my biggest trout in 25 years... 20", had to wind the drag way back... Wooooooooooooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooo!
  20. Glad it's not any worse. Really Sucks to hit a deer, been there done that... kind of like deja vu when you talked about the steep drop offs and not seeing it till right on top of it. Now, I use the electronic Hornet deer whistle, but, as deer are unpredictable (and humans), it's mesh gear, steel toes and a full face for me. Heal fast and keep your spirits up.
  21. Absolutely... I was a boy scout to! Enjoyed every minute of it... Still going this weekend. Taking my fishing poles...
  22. I've got a ceramic heater, and two sleeping bags. It's nice and toastie...
