  1. Ok, I reread you OP and you said you could turn it with screwdriver. Try to keep turning it all the way around and see it it begins to rise at all. If you somehow burred the outside of the bucket the spring pressue may be enough to overcome the burr or debris that's got it in a bind. You said you could push it down. Try to examine the bucket hole with it depressed to see if someting is between the bucket and the hole. I'd do this before trying to spin it out.
  2. Can you take a pair if needle nose pliers and turn the bucket? If so, see if you can lift the bucket with the pliers by wiggling it back and forth. If the bucket will turn and you can lift it, I suspect you may have a bent valve or just a valve stuck in the valve guide since the valve and its' spring is what pushes the bucket back up. This is just a guess. Are you sure you haven't dropped anything into the sparkplug hole that may be keeping the valve from closing?
  3. Mine bounced!!!
  4. Pics??!!!!!
  5. :stirthepot:The RSV will probably outrun it!
  6. The RSV will probably outrun it!
  7. Puc, man, I for one have thoughly enjoyed your ramblings and wish I weren't so tied down that I could be doing the same thing as you. Maybe one day... . Ride safe my friend.
  8. Dunlop Elite 3 from Jake Wilson or Motorcycle Superstore.
  9. I had one on the back of BigGal when I tried to go to the Darkside but took it off because the bike acted squirrelly. The tire still looked brand new. Many that use them on the Darkside get upwards of 20,000 miles. Don't know why yours wore out so fast.
  10. Thanks, ya'll been a big help. Looks like I gotta do some more research.
  11. Dion, will these work with the Kury pegs I was talking about earlier???
  12. Yea, if if weren't for the rain, I'd take them off, but I ride daily and there's always a chance of a thunderstorm popping up. Most of the time the shields keep me dry enough not to have to put on the rainsuit.
  13. Is the damage all on one side? All on the same tire front and/or back???????
  14. I agree with ya'll. If the battery was load tested and checked out good then there's got to be a breakdown in the transfer of current from the battery to where ever it's needed. Loose or broken wire wire, or main fuse.
  15. Are the auxillary lights wired straight to the battery? If so then that explains why they work and nothing else does.
  16. Will the Baker wings work with the Kuryakin crash bar mounted pegs????
  17. Second thought...., check battery ground and ignition switch.
  18. Might be a dumb question but, did you accidentally hit the kill switch or put the bike in gear with the kickstand down?????!!
  19. Has anyone tried running an RSV without the clear lower air deflectors attached to the bottom of the fairing as well as the air deflectors that are attached to the front forks? Wondering if it would be beneficial in the summer months. You thoughts???????
  20. Just remember that rev limiter comes with a 5 year warranty which translates into less shop time and more ride time, unlike the 1st gens who are constantly working on the bike to get in maybe 1 real fast trip around the block before they have to break out the wrenches again. :crying:
  21. Try Jake Wilson or Motorcycle Superstore.
  22. Thanks for clarifying this Goose. I've often wondered why they were run all the way up front behind the lowers.
