  1. Wait til I try the repair Mike. I just want to be sure about removing. Is there a glue or just use double side? Its not really damaged a lot just left the chrome on the asphalt up there somewhere. Along with a little Yammer Hide!! That stuff is hard to come by anymore!!
  2. Work?? Whats that?? 54 guests and 9 members at 5:20.
  3. Anyone know off hand what the faring eyebrows are called?? I can't find them. Buy or retape? Hey Boss were these stock? Scratched one pretty good and I have some real good looking chrome tape. Thinking of using heat gun to remove tape it with the chrome tape and double side tape it back on or glue?? Its getting there. Sure running sweet. I got one horn that don't want to join in and electric throws me. Wanna look at that wiring at MD Boss?? Paint is down the road sometime. I can hide most of the scratches pretty well and a complete paint might be a color change. Yeah it should have been done by now now but I got it running good and been thinking. Warden is still pushing that trike thing but I don't think so. Maybe when I get old!!

  5. I got a Turbo...... Intercooler would be a problem. Maybe not...... Humm.
  6. I use Mercury sticks so I don't know what you are getting into with syncing them but if not running right hard to balance.
  7. Those shoulder bolts are easy to break. If you can see the bolt you may be able to remove. Don't overtorque!! I'll let some others chip in on removing cap but I don't see why not.
  8. Can see how that would do it. We learn every day. If I'm having trouble with carbs and Sea-Foam don't cure I use the BerryMans very strong but don't leave it in there like I would SeaFoam. I mix the BerryMans about 1/2 and 1/2 with gas and pull line to fuel pump and put it in that way. Run it a while and see what it does. If it don't cure quickly leave the mix in carbs overnight and see what happens. BerryMans is a somewhat harsher cleaner and I don't like to use it a lot for fear of damaging something. Once you get them working right SeaFoam is great. I don't ise as much of it as I used to because of rising cost. I use Marvel Mystery Oil for steady Maint. It is another great cleaner that you can feed to them often.

  22. 1st thing is get back on that thing. Maybe I'll make it all the way this year??? Who is Freeboard???
  23. Sometimes these old ladies need shocked. BerryMans Chem Tech is a little stronger than SeaFoam. SEa Foam is great for Maint but the Chem Tech really cleans! I don't like to use a lot of it but if I have a stubborn one I dump a whole can in about a 1/4 tank and it does great. Then use Sea-Foam to keep running great. THe rear brakes can be stubborn also. You have some air trapped somewhere. Just bleed bleed bleed. Ask the Frogman. He was doubting me..... Looks like you have a good one to bring back.
  24. Good day for rabbit hunting.... Prayers Up!!!
